Have you noticed how Bambi II is now listed as "Not currently available" on Play, Sendit list the price as "-forthcoming- This item is not available to purchase." (and the Bambi/Bambi II boxset) and Amazon.co.uk list "This DVD is not in stock but we'd be glad to notify you by e-mail when Bambi II is available for purchase." (ditto the boxset).

All sites, to my knowledge, had the item for order before (in fact, I just cancelled by Play order expecting to pick up the 2 film boxset from them instead). D'oh!

Could this mean a theatrical release in the UK after all?

It's not on the list of forthcoming Disney movies here in Scandinavia either.

*Andy* asked me about this a week ago and i emailed BVHE and completely forgot.

Here is what happened, Bambi II was scheduled for a March release. BVHE decided to delay the release slightly until April 24th and informed etailers that the previous release date was wrong but the resceduled date has not been officially announced yet.

But it is coming on April 24th.

So no theatrical release

I wonder why the delay is so long after the US release , wouldn't it be better to get it out asap, considering that Bambi will soon be OOP, if it isn't already.

Seems Bambi II is going to now get a theatrical release

I just saw on the tv that it will be a the theater here 28 feb.
