how do the seat numbers in the fox theatre ( in saint louis) work? the only tickets are seats that aren't next to each other (i think) but they're all odd numbered or even numbered (125 and 127 vs. 125 and 126) does anyone know anything about this?

Considering the fact that not many of us are from St. Louis, and perhaps 99% of us have never heard of the Fox Theatre, there's not much we can help you with.
Do they have a website you can check to find your answers?

As a former theater owner and manager, the seats in most of the larger, older theaters are alternately numbered. Check most theaters that are of the old vintage type and you will see that every other row is even numbered and every other row is odd numbered. Also you will notice that each row is offset just a little so the person sitting in front of you is not really directly in front of you.
Hope that this helps.
