Where is the cheapest place to buy Disney Treasures?

So far, the cheapest place I found to buy the Disney Treasures set coming out this December is on amazon.com ($23/each). Is this the cheapest? Or will bestbuy/target/walmart/costco have it for even less in December? Does anyone know how much the Disneystore sold them for last year (price is not yet on the site)?

Online Amazon is the cheapest I've seen.
If you have a Disney Store close by I'd check in with them and see what they'll be doing. In the past I've seen Treasures as low as $22.99 at our Disney Store in Indianapolis. Otherwise I'd say Costco or Wal-Mart would be your best bet.

I think the disney store will sell them for 24.99, but i could be wrong. But Amazon seems to be the cheapest at 23.49 i think, with free standard shipping. Or if you are impatient like i am you can upgrade to 2 or 1 day shipping. For the 3 i ordered it was $77.xx with 2 day shipping! A great deal in my honest opinion

Sorry to laugh, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to find the OOP Tins. Well, not impossible but nearly so. Oh, you CAN find plenty of them on eBay, but you'll pay $100+ for
Mickey Mouse in Living Color and nearly that much for
Silly Symphonies.
However ....
You can join the Disney Movie Club and have access to a multi-pack of Wave 1 of the Treasures. All 4 for $126 I believe, which, given the prices on eBay is one helluva deal.

Well, Behind the Scenes, Disneyland USA and Davy Crockett are still available in many places for around $25, so keep looking for those.
The rest do command high prices, but I recently bought most of the rest on eBay, and I didn't pay tooo much for them. You just have to keep your nose to the ground and know how to bid

I don't hate anyone...
And why would I???
Those places would be Amazon:
Disneyland USA
DVD Empire (they have Behind the Scenes for $24.74). I didn't link directly because you should use this link to be
niceto Luke.
CDUniverse/VideoUniverse has
Davy Crockett for $26.29.
I can vouch for all three and praise them highly. Hope this helps.

OT -- Loomis, what did you think of Davy Crockett? I don't recall asking you since you've finally received it.

Cheapest place I've seen them in a store is Costco - $22.99
However, I've seen certain Treasures go for as low as $15 on Ebay, still sealed. Of course this excludes Mickey Mouse in Living Color, which is practically guaranteed to sell for $100.

Ooh! I loved it...
Still ploughing my way through all my DVDs (and prison comedies for uni), but I've watched the first few episodes on there and lovin' it.
Might actually be my favourite Treasure set, although I really dig BTS (although I think that Wave 3 may eclipse them all - especially Frontlines and MMILC2).

See Loomis? Would I steer you wrong? I told you that the Crocket collection was my favorite and you'd probably love it, too!

Welcome to the boards, spencerhpaul.
Which Tin is that that you did the price search on?

have any of you guys ever thought about buying several copies of the treasures when they come out and then selling them for outrageous prices later on ebay in a year or two? you KNOW the mickey mouse in living color part 2 is going to be a high demand item by then.

If I have the money which I highly doubt I may pick up a couple MMILC2's, but I doubt I'll have the extra money. I only wish I had done this with the first set!!!!

That's exactly what I'm going to do. The only ones I'm interested in watching are the Front Lines and Tomorrowland sets, so I'll buy 2 of Front Lines, and one of MMILC2 and sell them a year from now.

I will probably buy 2 each of mickey, donald and frontlines. By next Christmas I can probably do well enough to pay for all of Wave 4 and then some.

That search was on the Front Lines DVD, but they were all essential the same prices. (Used DVDpricesearch.com)
I bought a few copies of MMILC Vol. 1 hoping that they would eventually become rare. Luckily, they did, and only have one sealed copy left to sell, and another copy to keep of course.

Actually, I have an entire 2nd set w/ the exception of the Goofy Tin.
I'm planning on purchasing two sets of Wave 3 as well. I'd like to have one complete, sealed set available once this line has run its course.
