Which day is the Christmas parade being videotaped for airing on Xmas day?
I'll be in Orlando Christmas week and New Year's week. I'm going to all parks and would like to know what holiday events are going on those weeks. Celebrities?
Thanks!

I've started a thread here about the Christmas Day Parade.

Given that no other date is mentioned, I think we can assume the Christmas Day Parade is on Christmas Day
There are two great sites for keeping track of the Holiday events:
http://www.mouseplanet.com/
and
http://www.miceage.com
In particular, this page has some NYE details (as well as more parade details):

Sounds like it will be mega-crowded this year!

The Christmas Day parade is not live. It is videotaped in advance for broadcast on Christmas day.

Then it isn't really a "Christmas Day" parade is it?
False advertising!
Actually, a quick look around the net indicates that it has been and gone. From what I can tell, it was taped December 2 and 3.
And you are very welcome for the other info too!

LOL, OOPS! Sorry, I did mean to thank you for the links.
I guess there is nothing too spectacular this year. Last year there seemed to be something more.

No, I'M sorry. I'm just bitter and twisted from another thread. You know what it is like to write a whole lot of information that is completely ignored. (Only to have the question asked again in the same thread).
Besides, I didn't know it wasn't a live event, so we're even.

This is kinda cool.
It is Disneyland, not WDW, but it shows It's a Small World lit up for Christmas. They have a light show projected onto it that constantly changes. Very cool.
