I'm not fond of any of them, but if I had to choose one that I felt was the least horrible, I'd have to say Beauty and the Beast by Jump 5.
By the way: How can you put Circle of Life on there? Nobody's even heard it yet.

My favorite is Barbra Straisand's "Some Day My Prince Will Come". I also like "As Long As There's Christmas" performed by Play.

I totally forgot about the one on Snow White. I guess I do prefer that over the others, if only because at least its true to the original version and doesn't have some added euro-pop techno beat.
Barbra! She's like buttah!

None of them...
I prefer the Celine Dion/Peabo Bryson duet version of "Beauty and the Beast", if Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson were considered pop.

Not really a Disney song I suppose, more of an Elvis one, but I prefer the A-Teens "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" from Lilo and Stitch.
Or do I prefer the UK exclusive Garath Gates "Suspicious Minds"? No I don't becasue he became famous on that crappy Pop Idol show, which I refuse to have anything to do with.

I have yet to hear one I like, but I understand completely why these songs are being remade. There's a whole new market of potential Disney fans (and eventual consumers) that need to be catered to.

My personal favorite is Beauty and the Beast by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson, so I'm voting "other".

I chose Once Upon (Another) Dream, cause unlike Celine Dion's "BATB", or Barb's "SDMPWC" it is unique. They (Celine and Barbra) are just singing what is already sung in the movie, and that to me is an insult, cause it is saying that the disney versions are not good enough, they need some pop icon singer to sing it before it can become good. Atleast with the Once Upon Another Dream, it seems like they are just doing it for fun. Kids like to sing the songs. Now I didn't personally care for the Jump 5 version, one way or the other, but I think Once Upoun Another Dream, was fun and did the original justice as it had the same dreamy quality about it. Have not yet heard the circle of life one yet, but that's not on my list of top 10 favorite songs anyway so...

No offence, but I really don't think that the version of the song in the movie not being good enough has anything to do with it. By having a mainstream singer sing a single from the movie, you get radio play and automatic marketing for the movie.
