Sorry if this is a dumb question but i need to know,

I have the new tins preordered at Amazon.com, but now i am thinking of canceling that order and taking a chance at getting them all the day they are released at the Disney Store. I got all my others on ebay, so if anybody knows, do all the Disney stores get a shipment of these and is there a chance they could sell out on the first day?

First off, welcome to the forums. :)

To answer your question: If you want to make sure you'll get the upcoming Treasures, its best pre-order them online.

Waiting till the day they are released to go looking for them is really taking a chance: especially at the Disney store, which hasn't had the best reputation lately for this type of thing to say the least. Locally, my Disney stores haven't had any of the Treasures.

The only store I know of that has consistently had the Treasures tins each winter is Costco. So unless you have one of those in your area, I definately recommend keeping your pre-order.

Last year the Disney stores got all of the Treasures first day. Locally, none of mine had the Goofy set, but the shipment was delayed and they arrived within the week. There were plenty of copies of each title and I had no problem getting them all.

i would treat it as an exercise in patience and keep your preorder.. i often thought about it too as i have them on preorder, but the risk of not being able to find one is outweighed by having ALL of them a few days after they are released

I'd stay w/ the Amazon order.
If your luck is like mine you'll have no luck finding these on release day once you cancel that online order.

Does the Disney Movie Club offer the Treasures upon release? And how does Amazon ship? Because of my work schedule and the absurdity of my apartment complex, I cannot receive UPS/FedEx/etc shipments. I can only get United States Postal Service shipments. So can I order from Amazon or do they ship with a fancy deliverer? Yes, I said fancy. Thanks for your help!

Well is ordering from amazon a pretty sure thing, or is there the possibility that they could run out of tins before they fulfill all of their pre-orders?

I have mine ordered at Amazon. I ordered 3 of the 4, but I think I'm going to go ahead and order Tomorrowland also and just combine orders to save on shipping. I got the $5 shipping just to get them quicker. At the price they're selling them, I doubt you'll get them for that low at the Disney Store. Keep your order with Amazon.

I just cancelled my order through Amazon this morning. I figure It'll be a lot more rewarding to run downtown and pick these up in person. Ill be up at 6 in the morning on the day these come out, knocking over old ladies and young children as I bushwhack through the mall to assure I get my hands on these Treasure sets!

ME TOO! Better than waiting anxiously days after they're released, for your shipment to come, getting paraniod that maybe they were lost in the mail or never shipped, and the suspense of it all would drive you mad, meanwhile me and STASHONE and I will be at home, chillin, watching are treasures, staight off the shelf, December 2nd!
