Does anyone know if it's possible to get a replacement band for the Disney Treasure tins? The band for my Goofy dvd got lost somehow.

Unless another treasure owner would be willing to offer one to you, I'd say there's no chance. The sets are out of print.

Ha! I can beat that.

My Davy Crockett Tin came with a band labled Disneyland USA.
Obviously I didn't notice until it was too late.

I tried contacting Disney about this issue with no luck. Like Jack said unless you can find someone that will give you their's...looks like we are out of luck!

I'm selling my Behind The Scenes set because my tin is somewhat warped. It doesn't fit in place properly and one corner always appears raised. It's really bothering me that I have to sell this and start looking for a new one all over again! I wish they weren't produced so cheaply!

Yeah, somehow my Mickey in Black and White got lost and I really want the band, especially since my other 2 have them, and this one looks naked.

Anyone with a Mickey band, and willing to part with it? :)

STASHONE how much you selling your Behind the Scenes for?

depends how much i can locate a brand new one through ebay. probably around 25 US.

despite my above comments, the set is in absolutely pristine condition. the disc has only been inserted into my player once and is absolutely clear of all flaws, both aesthetically and function-wise. it looks brand new and appears to be in retaiul store shelf condition.

the warped tin is not even apparent on its own. it is dent-free, scratch-free and absolutely flawless. the only issue i have with it, is that when snapped shut, one corner does not fit in place all the way and appears to rest open about half an inch.

if anyone is interested in purchasing this set though, please send me an email.

i'm sure $25 US FLAT would seem a fair asking.

Thanks, Oliver.

OR... what I would really prefer is to trade tins with another member of this forum.

I would pay around $10-15 US for an absolutely perfect, dent-free, scratch and blemsih-free tin AND on top of that, I would send mine in exchange which is essentially perfect with the slight exception of that one corner which refuses to snap down all the way.

I can try to post a picture to illustrate how trivial this is... but it might make me seem an obsessive compulsive weirdo.

:}

In any case, I'd really appreciate if someone would be down to trade... please send me an email and we can discuss details, etc.

I'm basically offering the cost of a cheap Gold Edition dvd for the exchange of a seemingly brand new Treasure tin... a pretty safe offer.

Let me know if interested...

Thanks a lot!!

Oliver.

Amazon's running a special on Disneyland USA bands...they're $29.69 shipped and you get a free 2-disc Walt Disney treasure tin free with your purchase. ;)

Question: are the replacement bands you all speak of simply the blue cardboard wrap-around that encompasses the base of the sets?

If so, I have an extra one for the Behind The Scenes set which I'd be willing to part with...

Hey badboy, I do hope you've joined the forum for reasons other than to simply unload your Walt Disney Treasures.

Unfortunately I lost one at the Disney Store: Silly Symphonies. The band, I mean. Since then, what I do to keep them all in perfect state is keep them inside the tin box.
