No Jetsons Season 2? They go through the Flintstones quickly, but are slow to release the Jetsons...

With you on Mama's Family, RH. Would rather see that on DVD than Teen Titans.

I was hoping they'd release Jackie Chan Adventures. I guess they'll never release it on DVD.

Lets see, how to break this all to you.

When the Jetsons initially came out it was a total ratings disaster. There was one and only one season.

At first, I thought this thread would be announcing that the Golden Collection would be going to twice a year.

Not entirely true.

Yes, the initial Jetsons season only lasted one season. However, there were an additional 2 seasons over 20 years later between 1985 and 1987.

However, Warner seem to be releasing these things in some loose chronological order.

I am so far behind with collecting. I have only recently bought Looney Tunes GC 2, and the only others I have are the first Scooby and Wacky Races.

 Wow. I did not know that.

So all those times that I'd watch The Jetsons on Cartoon Network way back when, and on syndicated channels way back when...it was only 3 seasons worth? No wonder I saw the same episodes several times...

Thanks! But they don't include all of the episodes do they?

I think Sony needs to rerelease them in season sets with all of the episodes.

So much catching up on the Hanna-Barbera sets!!!!

Man, this month I'm only getting The Flintstones Season Four.

I still have to get:

The Yogi Bear Show Complete Series
The Flintstones Season 1
The Flintstones Season 4
Johnny Quest Season One
The Jetsons Season One
Tom and Jerry Spotlight Volume 1 & 2
The Huckleberry Hound Show - Vol. 1

I know I'm totally going to trade back my Teen Titans Volume 1 and 2 from Season One.

I'm a big Teen Titans and The Batman fan so I'll get them first.

My reaction too.. WB needs to understand that twice keeps the fans coming back for more. Or better yet, they release a complete set of the master MGM work, Tex Avery.

Oh yes, Mr. Toad, do you anything about the Cartoon Adventures Starring Gerald McBoing Boing? It states it includes the classic cartoon but I don't see any other information but the contents. Does include all four theatrical releases, the television show or other UPA offerings? I thinking of pre-ordering with Sam Peckinpaugh Western Set, but I want to know more about it?

Really? Is that what it's called "The Batman."

I use to watch Batman a lot but it went away and I got sad. I thought that the WB was going to cancle all of its cartoon shows which is said. I mean Freakizoid was a classic. They use to have this really cool line up like after Animaniacs you would have Superman then Batman once or twice. So it's nice to own the first season of Batman eventhough it really wasn't that great. Are they going to have Superman out?

I don't consider any of these truly Warner Brothers cartoons. I am interested only in Looney Tunes, and, of course, "Animaniacs" which has been announced.

"Tiny Toons" would be a nice addition, but I don't see them being released any time soon.

Dude, Batman: The Animated Series is already out at least 3 volumes and the fourth is coming out on Dec. 6 with Superman: TAS Volume 2 (Yes, Volume 1 came out earlier this year).

As for The Batman that's the WB show shown on KidsWB.
Also Teen Titans is a great Cartoon Network show better then Justice League. Teen Titans is on its fifth season on Cartoon Network.

Batman: TAS was on Fox Network first then WB got the rights to buy it and put on KidsWB with reruns and new episodes (4 season and final one).
It finishes because all of the artists were going to work on The Justice League.

Ok, I was thinking about the 1996 Batman, thanks for clearing that up. :)
