What unreleased 1955 - 1959 Disney DVDs would you most like?

Taking a cue from Boogedy Boo, I wonder which of the unreleased Disney movies y'all would most like to be released? Without considering the Disney announcements of future releases on these titles (except those with actual release dates), which ONE of the 1950s Disney films would you most like on DVD? In constructing these polls, I'm only considering films begun before Walt Disney's death. And I must admit a region one bias. Sorry!

The Shaggy Dog!!! I saw it for the first time when i was in 3rd grade... Man, that was a long time ago...

SHould be obvious to all by now (mind you, that is based on the assumption people read anything I post

) that Darby O'Gill and the Little People would be my choice.

I don't know what it is about that film, but I just love watching it and it reminds me of my childhood, despite being made almost 20 years before my childhood began...

I'd like both Davy Crockett movies equaly. I'm a big fan of both - I'm just hoping Disney opts for S.E. treatment instead if the lame fodder that was the Treasure Island DVD.

I'm surprised that there wasn't an option of watching the 'movies' on the Treasures collection.

That could be done with branching could it not?

Yes, good point. Yet I missed out on the Treasures set and I desperately want a movie release.

I haven't seen any of these, but I'd vote for Third Man on the Mountain because I liked the original "Third Man" so much.

until purchasing the treasure sets, ive never seen the davy crockett episodes presented as television series. isnt the only difference between the 'theatrical versions' and the current release, the break up or intermission between episodes? other than the format in which theyre presented, i remember them being exactly the same...

Yeah, according to my trusty Leonard Maltinguide, 'Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier' has: "Special animation involving Davy Crockett's Journal, and a colorful relief map of the country, provide transitions between segments, accompanied by special lyrics to the Davy Crockett theme song" (pp.122-23).

In reference to 'Davy Crockett and the River Pirates', he says: "While the division between the two segments is abundantly clear, they tie together fairly well to make a compact, enjoyable feature".

So as far as I can tell, yes - the only real difference is the intermissiony type things.

The Shaggy Dog, I would also like the 1994 TV version remake released along with it!
