I always love that movie "Get a Clue" with Lindsay Lohan. She was only 16 or 17 years old when she made that movie. It was Lindsay's second and last TV movie before she made her jump back to the big screen for her next film "Freaky Friday" with Jamie Lee Curtis a year later. To get things straight, I remember there was a scene in "Get a Clue" in which that location shot of that scene in which it took place in Brooklyn with a subway riding around the Smith-9th Street subway with the Gowanus Expressway in the background. And all of a sudden, I saw a sign on a subway that says "Carroll St. Station". That's where the subway station came from the movie. I took a picture of the same subway station which is for real. Here is that pic according to this link. I hope this pic is big enough for you to see.

Was the movie even shot in New York? I honestly don't remember well enough to say either way (having seen it once in May), but a quick search says it was shot in Toronto. Not a very believable or good film, and the DCOM budget makes me think they probably stayed in Canada.

I believe this film was shot in Canada except these viewing locations was taken in both Manhattan and Brooklyn. "Get A Clue" was not entirely shot in New York City.Luke wrote:Was the movie even shot in New York? It was a good phase for her. She wasn't a little child like she was in the Parent Trap but she wasn't all whored up like she is in Herbie. She in between. I think you' like it.Loomis wrote:How does it hold up for people who just enjoy looking at the Linz ?Luke wrote:Not a very believable or good film...

It was shot in both New York and Canada. I remember at the time, I always followed her online journal on her website. I remember her talking about how she was back in New York (where she lived at the time) to film the last of the movie. I followed her journal through the creation of "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen," which is when she stoped writing in it and when I began to not care about what she does. And now that you all know how sad I am, I'll end this... But for the record, I was 16 and she was hot!
