Lilo & Stitch Special Edition?

I just noticed that in Mexico they are selling a 2-disc Special Edition of Lilo & Stitch. It's a 2-pack together with Lilo & Stitch 2. Both movies come in separate packages (total of 3 discs). So, is this the same Special Edition that hasn't come out yet in Region1? When will it come out?
I haven't checked out the contents of the Mexican disc.
BTW, has anybody noticed that the new Disneyland DVD is scheduled for January 1, 2010 (!!!!) on Amazon.com
