The Most Underrated Disney Theme Park Attraction

Since we had a
The Most Overrated Disney Theme Park Attraction(which can be moved BTW) I think we should do a most underrated thread!
Here are mine:
1. Dinosaur(Animal Kingdom): This attraction has always been underrated. I mean it hasn't really gotten that much hype(okay there have been several possitive reviews, but there hasn't ever been alot of hype for this ride like Tower of Terror or Test Track) so after riding it, I LOVED IT! Pure and simple! I think the negative reviews are unfair because they compare this to "Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye" at Disneyland! First off you CAN NOT compare Dinosaur to Indiana Jones! I mean I know they are both "jeep-like" roller coasters, they almost have nothing in common. In fact both are great! To tell you the truth I sometimes enjoy Dinosaur more than Indiana Jones because as much as I LOVE Indiana Jones, I have yet to go on the ride where every single effect works. Dinosaur often pleases me everytime I go on it! I don't know whether it's just the fun story-line or the cool intense scaring, but I just will never get the unfair treatmeant it gets! It deserves better!
2. Carousel of Progress(Magic Kingdom): Well there are rumors it MIGHT go away soon, which is a shame. I guess I just like those chessy animatronic shows that show class! This one always ways interesting.
3. Drew Carey's Sound Dangerous(MGM Studios): Unlike Dinosaur, I don't think I've ever seen a possitive review for this, I mean I've looked all over Walt Disney World sites and they say horrible things about it! I mean they even said they "love' Drew Carey, but hated this. Well after reading bad reviews, I was not expecting to much, but after going on it, I enjoyed it! I enjoyed it alot! I mean it was very amusing, I love all the cool sounds, and Drew Carey was hilarious! This can easily get the award for Drew Carey's funniest performance! I mean even my Mom who hates Drew Carey said it was "cute" at the end. It's a nice way to take a break from the sun! In fact it was more incredible than Fantasmic!
Can't think of any more, will add them when thought of though.

Got to be
Maelstrom in Norway! It's like Pirates of the Caribbean, albeit a bit shorter, and it's an amazing amount of fun! I love those evil trolls! And now that I learned how to escape the stupid travelogue at the end, it's even more fun because I can do it five times in a row!

Yeah it's alright, it's actually interesting to go on once, but I'm not sure about repetitive times.
The only thing that REALLY bugs me is that pre-show at the end of the ride where the CMs force you to see!

I actually found myself having a ball on some of the kiddie rides, such as
Peter Pan's Flight,
Storybook Land Canal Boats,
Casey Jr Train and
The Enchanted Tiki Room. This last one was one of the last things we saw in Disneyland (just before we went off to Fantasmic), and it was really fun.
They obviously aren't going to pull the huge crowds in the same way that the Matterhorn or Indiana Jones will, but that capture that innocent storybook fun that characterise the best Disney films.
It is also nice to just sit down and enjoy the ride occasionally

Not true! You can just walk through quickly when you enter, and pass through the doors before they close! I do it all the time.

I'd have to say that the Davey Crockett Explorer Canoes are pretty underrated at Disneyland. We were just there 2 weeks ago and there was a 90 minute wait for Splash Mountain but the canoes were a walk-on. They're a lot of fun, the guides tell jokes kind of like the Jungle Cruise skippers, only you haven't heard the jokes a million times before. Highly recommended!

Hmm....for underrated attractions I would have to say: Fantasmic!
SO many people leave the park early & miss this gem!
Def the best show on Disney property...
Other underrated attractions (IMO) are: Journey into Your Imagination, Living Seas, It's Tough to Be a Bug
Some of the best WDW "attractions" OUTSIDE the theme parks: Mickeys Backyard BBQ, Fantasia Gardens, Winter-Summerland, The Boardwalk (at night!), Beaches & Cream, boat rentals, Fort Wilderness, Hoop-De-Doo, Chip & Dales Campfire Sing-a-long, Cirque-De-Soliel, WWOSC.

Prepare for some DLP titles and rides.

I also have an obsession with the kiddy rides.
Les Voyages de Pinocchio (the DLP title is better than
Pinocchio's Daring Journey
),
Alice's Curious Labyrinth, Snow White's Adventures and
Storybook Land particularly rock.

Wonderlicious, I'm with ya all the way! When I went to Disneyland Paris my prime objective was to go on to every kiddy/dark ride in the park! I love 'em!

I love that ride too. Even though its not as exciting as space mountain, there is something so charming about the ride. I also enjoy Tower of Terror at MGM studios. I'm too scared to try the new Aerosmith coaster though...

I'm the opposite. I LOVE Rock'n'Roller Coaster (one off day I rode it about three times in a row with a roommate). But I can't stand Tower of Terror. I only did it once, because my brother Kram forced me, and I HATED HATED HATED it. Never gonna go on it again.

I definitley agree with T/P fan!! I think Dinosaur is easily one of the most under-rated rides in all of Walt Disney World. Yes, it scared the pants off me, but, that's the idea!!

Davey Crockett Canoes. I dont know why people do not go on it. Is it because people do not like to do any work?

I didn't go on them because Davy was "Off Explorin'" the whole time I was there.
I had my Crockett hat all ready to go too!

Kinda like Extra TERRORestrial Alien Encounter...I loved it cuz it scared me EVERY time. Used to be Shanes fav. he worked at this attraction, & even on his off-time we'd make sure to visit the attraction...

Exactly. I, have never had the fortune of riding the ExtraTERRORestrial ride, but I can imagine. It really bugs me that they got rid of it, just because of it's scare factor for little kids. There was a reason the word TERROR is implanted in the title! Of course, I am completely in love with WDW, but sometimes they really need to grow an extra backbone..

Yeah I know! Guest seem to lack common sense! I mean I've seen people who complained about getting wet on
SPLASH Mountain!
I mean not everything Disney does has to be targeted for families, I mean can't they make an occasional thrilling theme park ride without being directed for kids? In fact, it might be just a crude personality trait, but I enjoy seeing little kids scream!
As for Dinosaur, it did kinda scare me, however most of the complaints as I mentioned are from comparing this to Indiana Jones at Disneyland, not because it's too scary. It's insaine because IJ and Dinosaur are 2 totally different rides!

I gotta agree with everyone's who listed the kiddie rides (aka dark rides) as underrated. Those are actually the highlights for me at the park because they're pure Disney. A lot of the more thrilling rides aren't based off of Disney films, but the quieter, relaxing ones are. This is why Fantasyland is my favorite part of the Magic Kingdom. Every attraction there is directly based off of a Disney film except Small World. Mickey's Philharmagic in particular comes across as very underrated to me. I always see people give it a passing glance and move on their way. I had to literally drag my friends into it because they didn't find the outside of it very alluring. Needless to say, they ended up loving it.

I third that. It was awesome both times I was on it, especially when it's dark.
