 I need to know some of the disney characters last names for a project at my college. Mainly the princess names such as Aurora, Ariel, Jasmine. Any of them would help though. Thanks

The princesses don't have last names. Unless you count Fa Mulan (in Chinese, the last name goes first then the first name)

I think Dumbo did in fact have a last name. His mother was Mrs. Jumbo(Come to think of it, where was Mr.Jumbo  ) so that would make him Dumbo Jumbo. I might me wrong though.

BTW, welcome to UD Aurora3409!

Even real princesses tend to not have last names.

I could make some up:

Ariel Katzenjammer (who became Ariel Eric when married, naturally)
Aurora Borealis (later Aurora Charming)
Jasmine Jasmanovitch
Snow Whitington (later Show Charming)

I wonder if they all married the same Prince Charming? Was it a massive scam? Does he have, like, wives all over the Disney Universe?

There's your basis for a cross-over!

Actually Loomis, this is how it goes with Miss White...

Snow White married The Prince so she becomes Snow Prince and lives happily with husband The to this day. ;) :p

On a more serious note, there are some Disney characters with last names. Peter Pan, Wendy Darling, Mr Smee, Captain Hook, Lady Tremaine (aka the Evil Stepmother), Milo Thatch, Olivia Flaversham, Prof Rattigan and many more have a last name. Also, the real life Alice who inspired the Wonderland gal's last name was Liddell, so I guess her full name was Alice Liddell.

As for Dumbo, his mother said his name was Jumbo Jr. early in the film, (in fact, it's the only thing she says throughout the whole picture), but the other elephants made fun of him by calling him Dumbo instead of Jumbo.

Did we all forget the evil Cruella DeVille?

Also how many know that Donald Duck's middle name is "Fauntleroy"?

DeVil...so it spells "Devil." (There's a really funny moment on the Nine Old Men tribute on the Cinderella DVD where Glen Keane is discussing Marc Davis' work on Cruella DeVil and then admits that he JUST THEN realizes the joke.)

And count me in with the group of people who knew Donald Fauntleroy Duck.

*thinks* Lots of the Atlantis characters have last names...someone already mentioned Milo Thatch, but Audrey Ramirez, Helga Sinclair, etc. are all in the 'last name' group.

Tarzan's love interest is Jane Porter.

Cinderella's stepmother is Lady Tremaine, and Drizella and Anastasia also have the last name Tremaine, as announced at the ball. I believe that they have all taken the surname of Cinderella's father, which would make her Cinderella Tremaine (before marrying and becoming Cinderella...Charming?). I suppose the last part could be debatable; I'm going by the fact that there's a book called "Disney Villains Top Secret Files" which mentions that Lord Tremaine was looking for a new wife so that his daughter could have a mother and also announces the wedding of "Cinderella of the House of Tremaine" to Prince Charming. I know that not all of the Disney Press books even agree with each other on such things, at least the ones geared to kids like this one, but I give this one some credibility because it is exceedingly well researched...one of the BEST Disney Press kids' releases I've ever seen.

Lilo's (and Nani's) last name is Pelekai...Lilo's full name appears on the form when she adopts Stitch. I know David has a last name, but it escapes me at the moment. The redhaired girl with glasses in the hula class is Mertle Edmonds, and of course, social worker Cobra Bubbles has a first and last name. Even some of the aliens get last names! Dr. Jumba Jookiba.

Jim and Sarah Hawkins also have a last name.

If we are getting technical on the spelling of Cruella last name if you look in the credits of the movie "101 Dalmations" it is listed as Cruella De Vil.......so we are both wrong. I got the joke, but, true, I misspelled the original post.

I know this site is about Disney and disney movies in particular; however, there is a great ongoing comic book series called Fables (published by DC's Vertigo line...people over 18...some mature content) that kind of ties in with this thread.

It deals with Fables such as Cinderella, Snow White, Prince Charming, Pinocchio, and others all living in our world after an evil adversary has conquered all of their lands. It also comments on marriages such as those that Snow White and Cinderella had with Prince Charming and the ongoing relationship between Beauty and the Beast. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for something good to read. The collected versions (TPB's) are available at national booksellers and should be at your public library.

Yeah - and while we're at it, don't forget the title of the movie in which she appears.

That's where I stole the Prince Charming idea from :)

An excellent series, and I second the recommendation to everyone!

Also, welcome to the board, Gurgi!
