Disney Dads

Ever since Snow White, Disney Dads have been forced to play small, yet pivitol roles in their children's movies. Some (like in Snow White) don't even make it too the screen. Then there are some Disney characters who are forced to become dads, and live in their children's shadows (Simba, Eric, Tramp).

So the question is, who's your favourite Disney Dad?

As with what seems to be every single poll thread I respond to, I must go with The Lion King. Mufasa's a great father - firm but playful, and imparting important lessons to his son.

"Mufasa. Just hearing that name gives me shivers."
"Mufasa!"
*oooh*

i agree with Luke.. plus James Earl Jones' voice makes the character "Mufasa" absolutely perfect. During the movie, I keep expecting him to say, "This is CNN." Just kidding! I really love his voice, as I know many people do

I am rather surprised that it never came to my mind during TLK. I guess that shows how much time I've spent watching CNN over the years.

I'd have to go with Mufassa, but I think Marlin from Finding Nemo deserves a nod, too, if you can call him a Disney dad.

I had to go with Mufasa as well...
But I think props should be given to Pongo. He was cool.
Although a little dotty...

Ok, you could have 'spotted' that joke a mile off.

I'll stop now.

I can't believe I forgot him! But which one do you mean? Original Geppetto or Drew Carey Geppetto? They're both great (Drew Carey's actually a pretty good singer). I also forgot the Great Prince.
