I searched and didn't find a topic on this! What is everyone going to be for Halloween? This is the first Halloween in a while that I've actually dressed up (I think I did it once in college but other than that, not since high school!).
This year my bf and I are going as salt & pepper shakers
I'm salt and he's pepper since we're making the costumes using white and black garbage bags (I'm wearing the white kitchen bag that he can't fit into

). The costume is going to be soooo makeshift but I'm super excited. We're going to a party on Monday night.
I'm in the process of trying to make my costume now!

Last year, I was Santa Claus, today, I'm going to be nobody for Halloween.

by so it goes
I'm going as Andy Capp from the comic strip and hot fries. Only because all my other ideas where to expensive and with this I can wear all the clothes whenever, not just as a costume.
I really wanted to be a cowboy but couldn't justify the cost of all that I wanted to make it a good costume just for a 5 hour rock/show dance party that isn't even on halloween. Oh well, at least I get the fun of explaining what my costume is to everyone.

Wow that pin is awesome!
Halloween is a really, really big deal at our school. Everybody dresses up and there's a schoolwide party with like 70-80,000 people on Franklin Street. My freshman year, I was Mario (Turdbizzler was Luigi). Sophomore year, I was an Oompa Loompa (again along with Turdbizzler). This year I am hoping to be The Joker from Batman, but I haven't had time to look for costume stuff (I'm insistent on creating my own costumes and not buying pre-made ones).

I'm going to be the scariest thing on earth... MYSELF!
Yup this Halloween I'm going to lay back on the couch, watch some of the greatest Halloween movies and t.v. episodes of my favorite shows and eat some of the trick-or-treaters' candy!
I just don't get into the holiday spirit as much as I used to!

I don't know I have to dress up for work it's kind of stupid really. But I might go as a drunk'n rock roadie. With the long hair, T-shirt, tatoos and what not.

I am too scared to go trick or treating after I heard that story about the poisoned candy.

Poisoned candy, from when? The 80s? If that story is circulating again, likely through email. It's B.S. Yeah, it possible, but highly unlikely. Especially with today's forensic science. I've gone trick or treating for 24 years. 5 of those years with my own daughter. Neither of us have been poisoned. Paranoia will kill you a lot faster.
So anyways...
Depending on how much time and patience I have....
I am either going as a gargoyle or a wench. If I do the full gargoyle costume, which includes several tubs of latex make-up, it will take me 4 hours to get ready.....hence time and patience

Do you know how they make candy corn? From old candy corn!
I hate candy corn, it's just ewwww and it's probably true how I said they make candy corn. Then it gets all stuck together and you have a huge ball of candy corn. It's just nasty.
Siren - You should deffiently be a gargoyle... that would be awesome!!!

You really should be careful though while trick-or-treating. I hear the hippies who don't want Reagan to win are going to be giving out chocolated covered poo!

I'm going to be myself.
Actually I don't have any plans for Halloween.

It's a good thing I'm going to a party instead... I'll have to spread the word though. That's awful!
So last night I watched Hocus Pocus while attempting my salt shaker costume... kitchen garbage bags really are a lot smaller than I had thought.

I can't wait until Monday!!

I'm not going to do anything for Halloween but I decided to dress up anyway. I'm going to be a martian from a cheesy 50's/60's Sci-fi flim.
