For all the people around the world who love digipacks as DVD presentation, it's no news that a few years ago, France was producing exclusive and gorgeous digipacks for the Disney DVDs (Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, Snow White, The Lion King, etc.) but since 2003 and The Lion King, the new "rule" at Buena Vista was no more digipacks
We all thought that Disney would'nt release digipacks anymore for their 2-Disc special editions, after the international standart cardboard slipcover (which in France, "doesn't open like a book" as opposed to America) releases of Aladdin, and Bambi among others.
BUT, suprinsingly, Disney France has decided to do digipacks again, and I gladly can tel you that the 2-Disc Special edition of Cinderella (released on Oct. 26) will be in France presented in a gorgeous digipack with magnificent artwork !!
I didn't beleive it ! So, even though I bought the R1 Gift Set, I'll definitely pick up the French digipack !
So, I just wanted to give you the good news since I know that a lotta people in this forum are interrested in having the French digipacks !

wow, great news for the french and collector's who import the french dvd's. Eventhough the slipcover for the SE's of Pocahontas, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch and Brother Bear were amazing, had they been digipack they would've been really cool. Thanks for letting us know!

Jordan, could you please try to post pictures of what the French digipack for Cinderella looks like? I felt like the DVD here in the U.S. was mostly recycled art. Actually, about the only thing new was the cover art! I really want to see new art fro Cinderella, so would you be able to post pictures of the French Cinderella digipack?

Here's a pic, but before, jsut a remark about the artwork as you an see tha pic on the main front cover is the same in the French digipack as everywhere else in the world. Chat changes is the form of the presentation and the artwork of the inside.
If you want a different Cinderella artowrk, we have in France the sigle disc edition which has a differrent artwork than the SE. This one's not a digipack 'coz it only has one disc. It's a standart amaray case.
It's like that:
And now here is pa pic of the French 2-Disc digipack (thanks to a forumer on the french website DVDrama):
I'll try to post new ones myself (espceailly of the back 'coz we don't see in in this picture) when I get my copy tomorrow.

Thanks Jordan.
Compared to other French digipacks i think this one isn't up to scratch, sure its nice enough, but the lion king, beauty and the beast and peter pan had superior artwork.
Still, its nice, but unlike the other dvds i listed before, it doesn't make me too jealous of the French digipack release.

Wow, that picture is very nice! Thank you very much Jordan! I am so jealous of France for getting new Cinderella artwork put on their release! I wish the DVD in America had at least gotten some new art on the back of the box or in the DVD guide(besides the cover art). Please post one or more pictures to show all the new art, like whatever's on the back, if you can. I really want to see it! Once again, thank you!
