I am based in the UK and believe there will only be a 2 disc platinum edition DVD set.
I wanted the special edition region 1 boxset with the cards film cell & book, which I ordered from Amazon.com
I took two weeks to arrive, and all I can say is what a boxset,
The layout & artwork is fantastic well worth the wait.
If any one in the UK is considering the region 2 version I would recommend the region 1 version.
OK it does not have the Disney hologram, but it is a great set.

I know a lot of people in the UK are worried about DVD regions, however most UK DVD players can be converted to multi region very easily and in this case it is well worth it.
If you are looking on how to convert you DVD player to multi region you may want to check out http://www.videohelp.com/

Most 'new' UK electronics (say, those manufactured in the last 10 years or so) accept PAL and NTSC signals. Our TVs are generally duel standard.
