I know a few people love Audrey on these boards or a lot of people, and her most famous movie in my opinion is set for a new dvd release. The only thing I know that they are in works of this Anniversay Editon set for Feb. 7th 2006. Don't know anything eles about it (don't know if it will be 2 disc or not). I will post more on this DVD once I get more info on it.

= 2 + Disc Release

= 1-Disc Release
It's tremendous news, seeing as
BaT's is one of my
all-time favorite films, and it is sore need of a good DVD treatment. However, if they do not make it a 2 + Disc Release, I will be very disappointed. I suppose I would survive with a packed 1-Disc, however.
*tlm
P.S. I think I know who else will be excited for this (*cough* Krystal *cough*

by so it goes
I just bought the one disc a couple months ago. I kind of hope the new one isn't too special, because if it is then I will want it. And I don't need to add to my want list at the moment, it's big enough.
Although it would be cool to see some good features on this, hopefully a book/movie comparison. Is this edition going to in any way tie-in with the Truman Capote Bio-pics being released? It almost seems around the right time and interest will be up.

Why wouldn't you want this new one not to be special, just becuase you bought the 1st one for maybe $7.50-$10.00 max. It would be really good if they made this DVD a 2-Disc. You know you can always sell your old copy, or trade it in for this new one.

Who doesn't like this movie? I hope they make it a 2-disc Special Edition. I am sure there are lots of extras out there they could include.
This is a really good movie with a great cast, and a fabulous soundtrack.

Where's Krystal?!? She needs to hear this!
Hoping for a 2-disc set, but then again, this is Paramount...

I imagine the film will probably get a 2-disc set. I wonder what they are going to name the DVD.

I think more people wanted this to be a special edition than Top Gun. Paramount still is abandoning the theory that they can make all their special editions as extensive as Top Gun. The John Wayne films have been getting some really nice features and treatments recently. I expect this edition will definitely live up to the wait fans have put in. It's regarded as one of the most popular films of all time. Paramount just needs to keep this in mind.

Yay! I'm hoping this is true...otherwise I'd probably cry again.

Possible cover</a>? I like the pink, and they put the famous Holly pose.
By Christmas, I would LOVE to hear that this will be officially released on Feb. 7, 2005 and we'll know what's on it!
Great cast, great soundtrack--amazing film IMO. Would love if they had a segment that focused on Audrey either practicing her Moon River, or just focusing on Moon River and how it was meant for her.

Of course with Paramount, one has wonder what ridicilous name it will be named: (I could have some of the quotes slightly wrong.)
"Gives Somebody A Sense With Solidarity With The Past Edition" (Shorten "Solidarity With the Past Edition".)
"The Prize In The Crackerjack" Edition (Complete with a box)
"Moon River" Edition (Complete with soundtrack)
"It's Paul-Baby" Edition
I unfortunately bought a cheapie copy a couple months ago, I will not likely double dip. Otherwise, if was not for the Mickey Rooney parts, it would be a perfect movie. One of my favorite romances.

The "Mean Reds" Edition sounds the most logical, as it was a running theme in the movie.
"If I could find a real life place like Tiffany's, then I'd buy some furniture and give the cat a name!" Edition
"Poor slob, poor slob without a name" Edition
"You can't love a wild thing" Edition
"I am still Lula Mae" Edition
"I believe you are in league with the butcher" Edition

www.amazon.com suprisingly already has this DVD for the release. They have the DVD as
Breakfast at Tiffany's (Ws Aniv Chk) (Widescreen Anniversary, don't know what the CHK stands for??) This DVD would just make sence if they call it
The 35th Anniversay Edition.

www.dvdanswers.com has posted the artwork of the 1 Disc DVD. It looks so beautiful!!! There will be a slipcover, and then a case with a little different artwork. Since i don't have the 1st DVD they came out with, this DVD will defintily be on my wishlist. Too bad it is only a 1 disc DVD, oh well though becuase Audrey is so dam cute!!!

One disc? And Tommy Boy got two???
Anyways, I like how the slipcover is actually different from the coverart. Almost makes it worth having (worth having the slipcover, that is).

That's really good artwork.
I have sadly not seen this movie, but of what I have heard about it, it is really awesome. I'm astonished that it has yet to be released on a 2-disc edition.

I can't imagine someone not liking this movie. Even Ryan liked it!

I find it to be a great movie, obviously one of her best!
I'm a mix of emotions right now because 1.) The DVD cover and slipcover are fabulously amazing! Really makes the slipcover sought after, if it's going to be a limited thing. 2.) Not 2-disc, especially when that Tommy Boy DVD came with 2 discs.
Wouldn't that be nice if BB had an Exclusive release for B@T and included an Audrey doll, or Cat figure.
I already own the released B@T because it came with the Audrey Hepburn boxset, so when this Anniversary Edition comes out, I'm going to compare the quality!

One Disc!!!
Where is
Lazario to share his thoughts on Tommy Boy & Top Gun? (Even though I have not gotten Top Gun, I think it fair it has 2 discs. Of course how does Chinatown not have two discs?)
Unfortunately, older movies don't have hours of potential extra material lying around so it really does cost the studio money to come up enough extras to fill a 2-Discer. Also, the stars themselves have sadly passed away.
Still a must see movie.
