According to the BBFC all episodes, including the Vincent Price one etc are 25 mins long (give or take seconds):

00:24:56:10 THE MUPPET SHOW - [RUTH BUZZI]
00:25:02:23 THE MUPPET SHOW - [RITA MORENO]
00:25:05:06 THE MUPPET SHOW - [JIM NABORS]
00:25:00:03 THE MUPPET SHOW
00:24:59:12 THE MUPPET SHOW - PHYLLIS DILLER
00:24:59:15 THE MUPPET SHOW - VINCENT PRICE
00:25:06:19 THE MUPPET SHOW
00:25:01:15 THE MUPPET SHOW
00:25:03:23 THE MUPPET SHOW
00:25:03:11 THE MUPPET SHOW - [KAYE BALLARD]
00:25:03:02 THE MUPPET SHOW - [MUMMENSCHANZ]
00:25:06:08 THE MUPPET SHOW
00:25:01:05 THE MUPPET SHOW
00:25:05:11 THE MUPPET SHOW
00:25:00:10 THE MUPPET SHOW - [VALERIA HARPER]
00:25:08:23 THE MUPPET SHOW - [TWIGGY]
00:25:02:14 THE MUPPET SHOW - [ETHEL MERMAN]
00:25:05:05 THE MUPPET SHOW - [JULIET PROWSE]
00:25:02:07 THE MUPPET SHOW - [CONNIE STEVENS]
00:25:17:22 THE MUPPET SHOW - [JOEL GREY]

There was a rumour going around that they wouldn't be edited. This seems to confirm it.

Cool.

Hopefully then, the Oz edition should be the same when it comes out. :)

UK has been having the last laugh a lot this year as far as Disney DVDs go, and this is a grand one. If money was the issue, wouldn't you think it'd be worth clearing the rights in the US too, where there are many more copies to be sold? I suppose most people won't even notice the edits.

I suspect that it will be the same as the R2, but sadly we don't get the same fuzzy cover that the lucky folks in R1 get. Instead we get this crud:

Because it's all about the (slip)cover :P

Well, I just got the R4 (Aussie) edition and did a spot check on the Vincent Price episode.

It DOES appear to be edited, and the Vincent Price episode only runs 22:49.

Only some folks in R1 got the fuzzy cover and it wasn't all that fuzzy. I'd rather have the unedited episodes - sucks to hear you didn't get them. Can anyone confirm that R2 isn't edited or has it not come out yet?

It's out next Monday. Currently all signs are still pointing to unedited episodes, none of the episodes have been resubmitted to the bbfc with shorter running times and with the release date only 5 days away I doubt very highly they will be resubmitted.

Anyway, I guess we'll have to wait and see I guess, fingers crossed!

Yes, they're edited. The BBFC lied to us. I want my taxpayers money back. :x

Ah okay thanks, i remember reading it when Muppets first came out, but I forgot it listed the cut parts.

I thought the cut parts would be A) a lot more than they are, and B) due to P.C problems...but it doesn't seem like that at all :? ...strange.

I hardly watched it as a child, i saw odd episodes which i liked, but not that i would remember the episodes much, so the cuts won't affect me, but it'd be nice if it was intact.
