Anyone seen Ricky Gervais' "Extras"?

I belive it has been on HBO for a couple of weeks now in America.

As some people will know, I wasn't too fond of The Office, but I love Extras. Part of it is that Gervais' character, Andy Milman is much more likable than David Brent in the office.

While some people dislike Gervais, say what you like about the man, he sure knows how to surround himself with talent. Maggie played by Ashley Jensen is a revelation, being wonderfully childlike and innocent throughout (and there's some really touching scenes with her in the final episode).

Celebrity cameo's are fun, and work to various extents. Kate Winslet, Patrick Stewart and Les Dennis (who? :D) being the best of the bunch. But the bulk of the comedy comes from Andy and Maggie.

It was okay, i only watched a few episodes. I wanted to see the episode with Kate Winslet in, but i forgot to watch it, i heard it was the best. Tbh i'm not a huge fan of Gervais, but i do think he has a lot of talent for the work that went into The Office.

I would like to take this opportunity to formally announce the former Sir 2099 of Net's degredation from Knighthood.

From this date forth, he shalt be treated as a fool, charlatan and a blackguard for his treasonous Ricky Gervais support.

His title has been officially stripped and I renounce all of his former teachings.

He is henceforth to be know as "The Betrayer", however the name "Scurvy Cur" is also an apt title with which he may be addressed.

His knighthood will be reinstated if within 28 days an apology is made and the products of Gervais shall be eternally thrown into exile from the Reader DVD collection.
