I saw these movies when i was younger and they scared me especially Mr. Boogedy but i enjoyed them and now i really want to see them again. But i can't find them on video so heres my question
When Will Disney Put These Two Great Movies out on DVD?
I know i'm not alone on this, someone told me that these two are onbe of the most requested to be on dvd.

Probably never. But as I've said before, I get more e-mail about the Boogedy movies, Child of Glass, Student Exchange, Polly, and Polly Comin' Home than anything else. TV shows and TV movies is perhaps the area Disney is lacking in most, in their DVD output. There is a great amount of TV content that would be profitable if Disney would actually release it.
Welcome to the forum.

I take it you've called 1-800-72-DISNEY or e-mailed

Oh, trust me, a lot of people remember these movies, but most people find the TV movies page, see they're not available, and depart, never even venturing to the forum. Maybe they'll send me an e-mail asking me how much I want for the videos. What videos? I don't know, cause I don't got any.
The fact that as many people DO remember these movies, which haven't had TV airings in over a decade, as far as I know, is rather impressive.

Yeah most people i know remember the movies and would jump on it if the DVDs came out.
Me i just want to see them again they need to be on DVD or at least shown again on tv. I'm trying to get Family Channel in Canada to show them on Halloween. I heards they showed them in 2000 but that was before i had that channel.

I remember Mr. Boogedy... scared me so much when I saw it on tv as a kid that I had to keep changing channels.

But I'm a wuss. I mean the "gory" special effects in Beetlejuice scared me when I was little too...I watch it now and wonder what the heck was wrong with me.
But anyway...I'd buy it if it was released on dvd. I love nostalgia.

I liked Student Exchange as well...

Yeah what was it about Mr. Boogedy it scared me really bad as a kid and gave me my first nightmares that i can remember. I remember the creppy parts him living in the grave in the cornfield and he kept chasing the family around their house they would lock the doors and then he go right through them Oh man that was so scary.
I really need to see this film again. DVD, DVD DVD!!!

I wanted an email that said thank we'll put them on DVD immediatly.

Come on. No one has mentioned Bride of Boogety. That was also a great show. Slap both of those on one disc. Man, that would be sweet.

No Boogedy on the schedule--through May, anyway. Child of Glass might be coming sometime later next year, but it's up in the air (as usual with Disney).
Disney will be releasing TONS of old live-action titles next year, if that makes anybody feel better. Stuff like Follow Me Boys, Miracle at Midnight, Miracle of the White Stallions, Those Calloways, &c.
As for requesting things, calling and e-mailing are the best ways to go about it - e-mailing is the best, because that way your exact words get to the Disney marketing people. One of the reasons these live-action titles are coming out next year is because people keep contacting Disney to request them.

Child of Glass may be coming? THIS IS AWESOME NEWS!!!!! Thanks Inga Tu Schmista. It's good to know that if you email it does work and if you do it enough it get's their attention. I'll have to keep doing this so we can get Mr. Boogedy, Child of Glass and Bride of Googedy on DVD.
And thomashton i did mention it in my email to Disney and believe me i want ths just as much i do Mr. Boogedy & Child of Glass.
I also email Family Channel and Movie Central here in Canada and constantly tell them to play thee movies so hopefully they'll catch on quick too. Family Channel actually showed them 3 years ago but i missed them. And i've felt so bad that i had my chance and completly missed them.

Boogedy Boo,
You're welcome! As I said, it's up in the air, but it could happen. They'll probably make the next catalog announcement sometime early next year.
