Finally got Snow White Platinum Edition

I can't believe I found it. I was browsing the Gamestop website and it said that one of our local Gamestops had one copy. I rushed out there and found it. The case is perfect, and it came with all inserts and ads. I took it up to the counter and the guy working there got the DVDs for me. Again they were perfect, not a scratch at all. I have never gotten a used DVD in this shape, it honestly looks like someone just opened it and then traded it in.

Anyway sorry for rambling, but I'm still in shock that I found this DVD. It was only $16.99 as well.

I haven't seen this movie in at least 10 years, so tonight will be a treat to finally see this again.

DarthPrime: I was looking on the gamestop website... but how do you search what each individual store has???

All I can find is the search where you get it from the website- which means that most of the dvds are "backordered."

Thanks!

Under the price which usually says backordered there is a check store availability. You just put in your zip code, and then pick a distance. It will list all stores that are within that many miles of your zip code. It will list the stock as 0, 1-3, or 4+. It also gives the address and phone numbers of the stores.

Don't you love GameStop? Most of their used DVDs are always in such perfect condition! Like you, I found my copy of SW there, in the same condition you found it in, inserts and all. Also got BATB, Tarzan CE, and Peter Pan SE at GameStop when I found SW there.

Yeah Gamestop is great.

Thats a nice find at your Gamestop though. I looked for other Disney DVDs, but only found Aladdin and Bambi (already have those). They had a lot of TV Box sets at this store.

Congratulations, DarthPrime! Nothing better than finding something you want, at a great price, and in great condition!

The Snow White: Platinum Edition is the BEST Platinum Edition release, in my opinion, because of how well the set is put together.

Enjoy the movie!

There is a GameStop near my work. I've traded in a dvd there not long ago. Though I ended up getting a store credit cause i couldn't find anything there that I wanted. I may have to go again soon to see if they have gotten in anything that I might want to get.

Has anyone actually bought anything off the site? HAs it been in good condition?

I haven't bought off the site yet because I have no ideal what condition the item would be in. Also mainly because most DVDs listed contain this in the item description.
This is a preowned DVD. It is guaranteed to work on your DVD player and may not include original box.
I really want the original cover art with my DVDs. I know sometimes in the store they have DVDs and Games that all they have is the disc. They just stick them in a generic case and write what it is with a sharpie. For a game I would probably still buy it, but I doubt I would a DVD.

the disc says something over 180 minutes actually, plus throw in all the gallries and the reading of the timelines and the original story. Also, the radio programs might not be included in that time.

Thanks to DarthPrime!! For the last few days I've been searching and checking the Game Stop website trying to see if they had a B&tB or Snow White in my area.

I got my friends' zipcodes and searched near them too. I found a B&tB about 700 miles from here  but only 5 miles from my friend! I called to make sure it had the case and both discs and she picked it up for me yesterday!!! Only 13.99!!! She'll be flying into the area on Friday anyway so I can get it in only 1 week and don't have to pay her for shipping!!

Then last night I randomly checked for Snow White near me (probably the fourth day I tried) and it showed that there was one 15 minutes from me! I went this morning and found it- almost perfect condition with inserts for $16.99!!

I'm so happy that I now have the two OOP, hard to find DVDs that I've been wanting!

I have the "Snow White" Platinum Edition DVD. It has a restoration of a old classic including bonus features as well along with a bunch of stuff. It was a great movie. I have special editions of "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin", "The Lion King", "Alice in Wonderland" and "Bambi". I hope "Cinderella" would do better on DVD starting in 11 days.

Congrats on the Snow White. I just got mine in the mail today from eBay. It's even a real release instead of bootleg! Only $20 plus shipping for used-but-excellent condition. With this and my recent Bambi purchase maybe my eBay luck is turning up again.

I think Disney did on of their finest jobs on this DVD. I love it.
