Hey, can someone help, I want to get both Nausicaa and The Cat Returns at some pont, i could get them both, but i was wondering if there was one I should get first is better than the other), Or if they're both equally as good.
Thanks

I'd say The Cat Returns was better, it was just more enjoyable.
If you want to buy them both, use this HMV link,
http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProd ... sku=422415
It beats buying them both at £14. I didn't see it till I'd bought mine.

Thanks BonusMage, i used that link on Wednesday night, but it wasn't in stock, and still isn't, i really want to see the two movies, so i cancelled the order, but you're right, it is better than paying £30. Might re-order

Howl's Moving Castle cover art anyone?
Can't say I like it myself, not when you compare it to the GORGEOUS theatrical poster!

Not Ghibli DVD but Ghibli 'art of' books

.
The art of, Howl's Moving Castle, and Spirited away are already out in big hardback books, but so is the 'Art of My Neighbour Totoro' (which I only just found out).
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... tedisne-21
My point is

, the Totoro book was released in November, and there will be an 'Art of Kiki's Delivery Service' soon, (and these aren't Japanese imports they are with English text). I can't see any more books that are going to be released, but these two releases may give a hint for things to come

I haven't ever liked the R1 covers for any Ghibli movie. I feel like they've missed a point or something, because they've had these gorgeus posters and covers to begin with in Japan and America is choosing to use a scene from the movie instead? Hasn't this been the case for like every released Ghibli movie in the US?
Finland's also finally starting to release the Ghibli movies and I hope, even if it would cost some extra money, that they will release them in a way that they appeal to both adults and kids since Miyazakis movies have always been aimed for everyone, not only for the kids.
Anyway, the most important thing is that they're actually available for everyone were the covers good or bad.

Ok, I've been biting at the bit to know about the Region 2 release of Only Yesterday. Does anyone know that it will be dubbed into English? (If it is than we will probably get it here in the U.S., too!

Cool, I'm getting all these when they come out

. Just a quickie though,
The Ghibli movies being released now (may apply only to UK) have numbers on their covers Nausicaa being 1 and Cat's Return being 2, is there any reason they're done like this? I mean, it's not in the order of release is it? Just got me thinking
