I found this great film from Internet Archive. It was a 20-minute featurette entitled "Coney Island U.S.A.". This short was released in 1952. That was 3 years before Disneyland opened in 1955, and Disney World opened in 1971. This film was about an impressionistic view of a day in the life of Coney Island from the desertion in the early morning to the hysteria at midnight. The film was narrated by Henry Morgan. I love this great film, because it is part of Brooklyn. I love Brooklyn so much and it is still my favorite town. I hope you will enjoy it! Let's roll the film!

"Coney Island U.S.A." - 1952

This film as I said was long before the two Disney theme parks opened. Disneyland and Disney World. Any thoughts about the film, please post.

Yeah, I remember watching a movie on Coney Island. For entertainment they staped a couple of electrodes to this elephant who was really sick. And passed 30,000 volts of electricity threw it. It started to smoke and then if fell over with a huge puff of smoke. :headshake:
What were we thinking back then?
