Since you all are helping Alan out, I figured you could help me out to.
I need to know which 2 dvds I should get next. These are the ones I am choosing from:
Hercules
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Saludos Amigos
Fun and Fancy Free
Aristocats
A Far Off Place
Melody Time
Make Music Mine
Rescuers Down Under
A Nightmare before Christmas

I'd say Hunchback of ND and Hercules!
The first one is a great drama and the second an hillariant comedy!

Well, Make Mine Music and Melody Time are edited in Region 1, Hunchback and Hercules are apt to be revisited at some point, and Aristocats has a sequel coming out in the next year or two.
That leaves Saludos Amigos (which is interesting more as historical document than as a movie that entertains), Fun and Fancy Free, A Far Off Place (a movie I didn't think much of and one which is due for a $5 price drop in the near-future), The Rescuers Down Under, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
With all that said, I'd choose Rescuers Down Under and Fun and Fancy Free. They're not likely to be revisited anytime soon and both are solid movies.

This one is also edited on DVD.
I would go for TNBC -- one of the most unique films EVER.

You should totally go for The Nightmare Before Christmas. I remember watching it on tv and going "this movie looks scary" but as I watched it, I liked it a whole lot.
