I'm just asking because I decided to order some chinese for lunch and didn't think much about my fortune in the fortune cookie until I opened it up and read it.

Wanna know what my fortune is? "Made in America."

Weird, eh? Anyone else gotten anything memorable, fun, or true?

I haven't gotten any memorable ones, but i did get one that did not have a fortune in it. I know that's bad luck, but (knock on wood) nothings happened yet and it's been about 3 years, but i will never forget that.

I get alot of funny fortunes, I want to remember a couple of them but unfortunatly I forget them all buy the next day. Not anymore!

A bit off-topic: Does anyone else hate the fact that most fortunes in fortune cookies aren't even fortunes! I mean my Dad gets fortunes all the time saying "You are extremely organized" or "People think you have a charming sense of humor" which I find really stupid because they aren't really fortunes, they're usually commands or compliments. Anyone else notice that?

I don't really remember but I guess one said that many different opportunitys will arise for me. I don't know something like that.

I got one that said "You will be hungry again in one hour." No kidding. It really said that. And it was true.

...Sounds like they mixed up my fortune cookie with Krystal's fortune cookie.

Last year at my uncle's silver wedding anniversary, I got this fortune from my cookie:

"If you had a penny for every kind act you performed, you'd be a millionaire."

I wish that was true.

A co-worker slipped some joke ones in at a restaurant once. Mine said I would die within 24 hours.

I've had three more, and I've gotten...

"Nothing seems impossible to you."

"You are tasting the sweets of success."

"You are patient and careful."

Remind me again how these are fortunes?

Anyway, I can't stop doing that game that Siren suggested. These are all quite funny when "in bed" is added to them.

My first fortune cookie said "To love others, you must love yourself."

Then I opened another one, it said, "Ignore previous cookie."

It said:

"Don't Reveal your Fortunes on a Thread Called "What have your fortune cookies said?" or else you'll
DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

then the next one said:

"I-Love-You!"

Too bad they didn't say how many months/years I have to wait.

The ones that crack me up are the fortune cookies with typos.
