I chose TOMMY BOY because through UD's Bestbuy.com link, I pre-ordered it to make sure I get the bobblehead. And mainly because I've been waiting for an updated version of this movie. So I'm glad that it came out.
Same goes for Clueless. Whatever!
And as for a Disney release, Lilo and Stitch 2, of course.
I <3 Stitch and 15K RZ points.

Has to be House S1, because it's not often we get a good, inteligent tv series or movie released and listed on these lists. Shame Universal have reportedly not used anamorphic transfers although the series will be presented in widescreen.

If I get anything this week, it'll be Lilo & Stitch 2, but nothing else interests me this week. I'll only get L&S2 if the reviews are good, though.
I can't wait until next week though, that's the week I've been waiting for for a while.

I was planning to get Roseanne, and have been dying to do so for ages. However after learning that they are the syndication prints, they can go to hell. Some of the episodes are missing up to 3 minutes!!!! The is majorly disappointing for me. Anchor Bay and Carsey-Werner can think again if they expect to shell out money for this DVD!

Well, Roseanne aired on Oxygen and those (still syndicated?) episodes contained extra time that the TV Land airings didn't. Well anyway, eventually I'll get Roseanne even if there are pieces missing. I'm really used to the syndicated airings I've seen and it's such a powerful show that you know if they cut any of the really dramatic stuff, they'd be in deep trouble, so I'll still get it for that. It's not a very complex show, like 3rd Rock from the Sun (with that show, you don't always know what the joke is, that's one really smart show).
Well, at least it's not as bad as what Disney did to the Muppet Show... And hey, if you don't know what was cut, you might not miss it. And perhaps this will get Anchor Bay to maybe include the missing footage later on in bonus materials on future releases... Maybe CWM (Carsey-Werner-Mandabach) won't be so heartless in the future (what the hell are they saving the full episodes for? More money?!!).

Actually it's much worse.
Disney WANTED to release the Muppet Show unedited, but couldn't due to rights issues, that is forgiveable IMO as there isn't a lot Disney can really do about it. If the reason also fell to availability only at an extortionate rate, well I still kind of side with Disney not caving in to unreasonable demands.
Whereas Anchor Bay KNOW they are syndicated episodes they are releasing, they know that Carsey-Werner has only given them the cut up versions and they don't seem to even care. That is by far worse if you ask me!!!

First choice: Tommy Boy HSE
also getting: Pretty Woman 15AE, Clueless WE, Blues Brothers 25AE.
Seriously considered Lilo & Stitch 2 but will pass. I'll borrow the 68 minute short from a friend to watch as even though it's gotten mildly good reviews (which is extraordinary for Disney Direct To Video) I don't see it as having much replay. Now, if they'd just release the L&S SE I'd be first in line.
