August 26, 2005 Studio Ghibli Shorts on DVD
A R2 DVD which contains various shorts film by Studio Ghibli will be released this fall in Japan. The exact date has not been decided.

"Ghibli ga Ippai Special Short Short" will include:

On Your Mark
Sorairo no Tane
Portable Airport
Space Station No.5
Various commercials

The short films for Studio Ghibli Museum are not included.

Hopefully this means, that Disney will get the rights to these and release them in R1. I am crossing my fingers

What about those "The Ghiblies" cartoons. Or are those the museum ones?

No, I don't believe they are museum ones, since I'm pretty sure that Ghiblies Episode 2 got released in Japan with The Cat Returns.
