This topic is partially inspired by Aaron's definitive list of Holiday TV episodes on DVD thread. I'll update this list by adding some of your choices for good seasonal viewing to my choices in order to come up with a definitive film list. It would be a good thing if we can make sure these films are on DVD, if not, specify! Use the Amazon or Best Buy links dotted at the top of the page in assistance in finding the DVD or video.

What films do you think are great to watch at a certain time each year (specifically holidays)? They don't have to have a certain theme to them (for example; being specifically a film about Christmas), just things that suit the film's atmosphere well. You may not always catch them at this time, but what do you think is the perfect time to watch certain films? You can put two films down twice for a different season if you think that they fit well in both celebration.

I really don't have a movie that I associated with any other holiday.

Don't know why, but ever since seeing Batman Begins, I pictured it to be a Halloween film. I'm also sure that once The Corpse Bride arrives on DVD it will make a great halloween movie!

For Christmas I would add the Harry Potter movies. They have a magical feel to them, perfectly suited for a Christmas night! I always imagined Beauty and the Beast to be more Christmasy than New Year's... That's all I can think of right now. Oh, also The Incredibles. Has strong family morals which suit Christmas time perfectly.

Cool idea! The Christmas movies are obvious, but I also have movies that I think fit the feel of a certain season.

I second all 3 Harry Potters for the Thanksgiving/Christmas season. Ditto the Lord of the Rings. Also, the new Peter Pan and the Color Purple.

For Easter, The Passion of the Christ

Wonderlicious, I mostly don't associate movies (aside of holiday specific ones) with Holidays, I usually do with seasons though!
