Did anyone ever trade his or her new or used DVD to get an other new or other used one at Blockbuster video or Hollywood video.
The reason is I want to trade some of mine.

Yes, that's where I unload DVDs that I own that are being rereleased (just did it with the Batmans and Titanic). Just go to Blockbuster and set up a trading account (a simple process). Then hand them the DVD you want to trade.

If it's in good condition (no scratches), then they will scan it and tell you how much you'll get for it. Then you say yay or nay and you'll get that much in store credit, which you can apply to renting or buying used or new DVDs. They will usually give you anywhere from $3-7 in credit per DVD, with exceptions, depending on the title (usually lower than higher, now that they've done away with their $5 guarantee).

Could the DVD's be new or old?
Could they be open or sealed?
How about Full House season one, Robert De Niro films and Eddie Murphy films?
Do you need a Block Buster Card to make a trade or to get store credit.

Yes, the DVDs can be new or old, as long as the disc doesn't have any noticeable scratches on it (it's up to the employee which ones get accepted- they will try to clean them before rejecting them).

They can be open or sealed; however, that won't make any difference in how much you get.

I don't think they have any policy against Robert de Niro or Eddie Murphy, Pals.

I know that they will accept season sets like Full House (why would you want to get rid of that ), but I've never done that, so I don't know how it works, or how much you might get.

I got two copies of Full House Season One....

I took about $500.00 worth of dvd's and games in to blockbuster and was only going to be allowed $40.00 . You do better to sale on ebay or yardsale the ones you don't need.
