Help! Pete related disaster!

We got Disney Sports Basketball the other day for the GameCube and despite showing Pete on the cover (and listing him in the booklet) you cannot choose Pete's team from the start.
We're running out of room on our memory card and as a result it is not possible to play through the championship until we unlock Pete (I assume he is a hidden character to be unlocked later).
I’ve searched the web, but can find no Pete unlock codes. Please help, I just want to play as Pete.

to unlock pete

hope this helps:
To unlock Pete as a playable character and the SteamRoller Dome arena, defeat Pete's team (Steamrollers) in Level 3 Challenge Mode.

Thanks for letting me know how to unlock Pete. Looks like I'll either have to buy another memory card, or delete some other saves (those Eternal Darkness saves can go I suppose).
no problem

i was wondering if that mickey game (mickey through the mirror) or whatever was any good for the gamecube. i was gonna buy it because it was disney, but if it is just a kiddie game then probably not. is there a storyline? is it a fighitng game? is it just puzzles that any 2-year old can solve? if anyone has any info, please let me know. thanks

I'm not really sure cause i don't own the game and I never played it... but it basically seems like a kiddy game from the review i found at
http://www.nintendo.com.au/gamecube/gam ... mirror.php ... though it also looks like it can be quit alot of fun!
hope it helps!!

Oh.... and here are a few more tidbits that i found there:
Nintendo.com wrote:• First GameCube game specifically designed to entertain young children.
• Classic Disney charm and character. Mickey looks, sounds, animates and interacts just like a cartoon.
• Perfect game for young children and parents to play and enjoy together.
• Complete the game and play the special “Hide and Seek” mode, where players must find specially hidden hats like Donald Duck’s cap, then try them on in Mickey’s bedroom.
• Transfer special items from Disney’s Magical Quest: Starring Mickey And Minnie on the Game Boy Advance (Requires GameCube Game Boy Advance Cable – sold separately).
• 6 entertaining mini-games to choose from.
• Pull up a chair in the TV room and watch clips from classic Mickey cartoons.
Sorry to dissapoint you disneyfella.... but if it's the 'first gamecube game designed for young children' i'm somehow sensing that it might be a game for little kids.
but.... i'm thinking it could be pretty cool to watch the classic mickey cartoon clips on your TV!!
