YEA!!!! I love the Disney Channel!!!! I knew a Raven boxset would come eventually! I am sooo happy! AND other Disney Channel Series!!! Like What?! More Lizzie? A Phil of the Future set? Suite Life Boxset? Who knows!!?? How do y'all feel about this news?
EDIT: So that you dont have to go through the whole hour looking for the quote of Raven, I have it here: "Other than that (Grey's Anatomy), those are the only specific plans we have in terms of serious potenial, although there are a couple of Diensy Channel shows that we are looking at, some of their live action like "Raven"

Yay! I saw this on the front page and I was just bursting to talk about it! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was hoping for more Lizzie, but I'll take what I can get! Doesn't anyone else want a Raven set? Oh, and thanks for finding the quote Adam. I was going to actually go through the whole thing trying to find it, but now I don't have to. Thanks!

Great news indeed. "Raven"'s a given. After that, if we're talking more recent shows, I think I'd most like to see "Even Stevens," for which we already know season sets might be in the works.

Gosh I hate this show. All it does is modernize old I Love Lucy plots and the results are disaterious! I don't really like Disney Channel, but if I was to get a set of any show currently on DC, I would get Even Stevens since I enjoy that show. I'm still waiting on the news for the DA cartoons like Ducktales, Darkwing Duck and Tale Spin! Until then, I'll pass on the lame shows like Raven!

I think an "Even Stevens" boxset would be more poular than the "Lizzie" set. I'd go buy it.

The quote doesn't shoot down the possibilty of more Lizzie, so it's always possible. You're welcome for the quote. I didn't have to wait very long, it was only about 1/4 into the confrence call. I wanna see this Raven Box, and another Lizzie box, and a "Phil" box, and EVEN STEVENS. Come on Disney, I'm growing old here waiting.

I'm not a fan of That's So Raven, but I know where to go if I change my mind. Isn't that show on the Disney Channel about thirty times a day? How long would you have to wait to Tivo any particual episode? A day and a half?
I wish they'd spend their time putting things on DVD that we don't have access to... like the Humphrey cartoons, or the old Disneyland special with the Osmonds and Kurt Russell riding the Haunted Mansion. I miss Vault Disney. The Disney Channel's lost my interest in the last five years.

I would like to get a Phil of the Future Seasons set! I think Raven's pretty funny. It's a lot better for kids and tweens and teens these days than some of the filth on MTV these days. Though it may be like redone I Love Lucy to us old school Nick at Nite viewers and other adults, to the recent generations, it's fresh and new and done with a multicultural cast.

Me too. I'd love a set of all the specials done on/about/at the classic Disney Disneyland. Though I think the Disney Treasures should take care of most of those things. Speaking of Vault Disney, I found this review from imdb rather shocking and most disturbing:

Proof that New Disney Channel is becoming like Classic Nickelodien, 13 September 2004

This show is beyond great Disney Channel used to be filled with Zorro and Walt Disney Presents, finally this channel had come around with great shows like That's so Raven and Lizzie Mcguire. Nickelodien used to be for preteens like Kenan and Kel, All That, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and Ahhhh Real Monsters, but lately its for 7 year olds and no one older. Disney was turned into a teen channel, and now we have a great kids show Brandy and Mr. Whiskers Charles Adler and Kaley Cuoco, portray a Wacky Rabbit and a Stuck up Dog, living in the jungle. Disney Channel has finally become for everyone, like Nickelodien used to be.
Final Rating
9.5/10

(well mostly just to what the reviewer implies about Vault Disney and his/her remarks about Brandy and Mr. Whiskers)

I'm actually excited. I like That's So Raven.
Hopefully Even Stevens isn't too far behind!

The Disney Channel's great for teens. I just wish that they had a "Disney Classics" channel for those of us who are a little older and miss the things that Disney used to be. I'm slowly getting what I can on DVD, but I miss what's still unavailable. Where are the True Life Adventures? They keep hinting that those might be in the next wave of Treasures, but they never are.
I'd also love to have all of the old Disneyland specials that I've seen mentioned on these boards in other places... like the 30th anniversary special. And then the classic I mentioned before... give me the Osmonds or give me death! Actually don't give me death.

I actually like That's So Raven as well. Raven Simone is a very good physical comedienne for such a young girl.

I totally agree. I think Raven Simone is very talented and is one of the only actors who can act and have a moderatly good voice unlike other people. *Coughhilaryduffcough*

I think Raven is too good for the show. She does well with it, but I think she could do more interesting things.

I dont see myslelf going for the Thats So Raven DVD box set. But I am happy that it is coming out on DVD just the same for those fanatics, because thats how I am with Lizzie mcguire which I hope means another box set in the works very soon for her. I would also like to see an Even Stevens box set I would buy that too.

This is good news it seems.
