Hi all! New here, so please forgive if this question has already been answered. I'm trying to track down the title of a Disney made-for-TV movie in which a grandfather, a WWII flying ace, flies himself and his grandson across the country in a hot-air balloon, with the law on their tails as they hide the balloon in canyons and so on because the grandson's mother has set the law on them thinking the grandfather has lost his mind.

Does this ring a bell with anyone, and if so, do you remember the title, or even how to obtain a copy?

It sounds to me like <a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/nightcrossing.html">Night Crossing</a>, although that wasn't a made for TV movie.

:) Thanks Mate but Nop. This was about WWI balloon obsever who is well on in age and has always wanted to fly a balloon across the States before he dies. He makes his own balloon and he and his grandson take off in it headed for California. The parents freek and try to stop them. As tv coverage starts to follow them, people start to help hide them so they can complete the journy. They do make Cal in the end. it is a great made for TV story.Sure hope someone can help me find a copy of the movie or at least help with a name. Thanks T.J.
