Well, I've been very bored this summer and I decided to make some custom covers for some of my favorite Disney movies. I know they are not the best (nothing compared to previous customs that have been posted) but I do want to know what you guys think! Try not to be too harsh.

Here are a few (101 Dalmatians, The Little Mermiad, & Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs):

WOW!!! I really like them! I LOVE the 101 Dalmations and the Little Mermaid. Really reflects the movies. But I dont like the font used for the Snow White "2-Disc Set", besides that I LOVE them!!!

Those are beautiful! The only things that bug me are the flower in Ariel's hair, and on the Dalmatians cover, Pongo and Perdy are pictured twice (I hate it when characters are pictured twice on the front cover).

Those really do look awesome. You did a great job on those. The 101 Dalmations one would look even better if the background was spotted, but they all really look like something Disney would do. Once again, great job.

Thanks everyone for all the great feedback!

I didn't like it that much either at first but after awhile it grew on me and now I really like it! Come on, it's not that bad.

Well, I hadn't really noticed the flower until you mentioned it but now that I see it, I'm not sure if I like it either. But it is part of the picture, so if I cut it out, there would be a hole in the picture. And on the 101 Dalmatian cover: I really wanted a picture of Roger and Anita and what better picture than one of their first encounter! :)

I actually use PowerPoint. I know. That's really wierd but I just think it is so easy. I usually do cropping and stuff in this cheap "Microsoft: Picture It!" program then I copy it to PPT and put it all together there, group it and copy it back to save it as a file. Confusing. I know. But I use what I know and I'm too lazy to take the time to learn a new program.

I thought about doing this in the background or at least on the "2-Disc Set" Banner but I couldn't find any good spots. :(

Thanks again everybody! I'm hoping to post some more covers tomorrow night!

Here are two from the same movie (Tarzan). I'm not sure which one I like better. The first is more of the movie's rough style but the second is more simple. Let me know what you think!

I really like the first one. You make brown look good! 8)
BTW, on all your other covers, good job!

It's really nice looking at others' cover arts...you know, since we UD people complain about Disney's covers. ;)

Hey goofty108 I really liked the second artcover of Tarzan: SE.
But at least Tarzan: SE (the real one) will come with a slipcover.

Goofy, I have to say that those Tarzan covers are simply awesome and shows that you're really coming on (that's not to say that the previous covers were bad; they were quite nice to begin with). Being the nitpicker that I am, I would change the "Walt Disney's" to "Walt Disney Pictures Presents" or "A Walt Disney Classic", as Tarzan and The Little Mermaid as well are way post Walt. However, that's just me being a purist, and the only artistic complaint I have is with the 101 Dalmatians cover where the 2 Disc Set banner looks a bit kiddy.

Keep up the good work, as those covers are getting better, my friend! :thumb:

Thanks again guys for all your kind words! I'm currently working on covers for: Cinderella, The Emperor's New Groove, Peter Pan (almost finished), Brother Bear, and Lady and the Tramp (almsot finished). Any requests?

Wonderlicious, I'm definetly going to change the "Walt Disney's" on The Little Mermaid and Tarzan. And I noticed that Snow White is missing it. I'll post revised versions of the previously posted covers some time tonight.

Peter Pan and Lady and the Tramp will hopefully be posted later tonight!

I think that covers for Alice in Wonderland and Pinocchio would look nice.
