Just how big is your Disney movie collection?

Hello. This is my first post. I'd been lurking for almost a week now but decided to join because this group is particularly well informed (obsessed) about disney movies.
I was just wondering how many Disney movies everyone owns. I realize it may be a hassle to actually go count so just approximate.
Personally, I only collect the animated Disney movies. So far, I have 11 VHS and 5 DVD (with an overlap with Beauty and the Beast). By the end of this week, of course, I'll have the Sleeping Beauty DVD.

Welcome, Lady!
No hassle for me...I counted...4 Pixar films, 21 animated classics, about 34 others (live action, DTV, things like Dinosaur, Anchor Bay releases of Disney movies). Didn't count the Touchstone, Miramax, etc.
So my total is...60? That doesn't seem right, but I guess it is.

15 total. May sound pitiful, but I've only within the past year have I really started to build up my Disney DVDs.
And welcome to the forum!

No, that's not pitiful.
I only own two Disney DVDs. There's actually three, but Snow White belongs to Mom. I own Beauty and the Beast and Alice in Wonderland.
I really want to get Treasure Planet and Sleeping Beauty, but I can never seem save enough lunch money to buy them...I can try asking them for gifts, but I almost never get what I want for Christmas/birthday...

well i just counted and it seems i have 119 disney dvds (that's live-action and animation and dtv put together). that's not including mirimax, touchstone, hollywood pictures, and generic buena vista releases (i.e. felicity season one). that also is counting the fantasia anthology as one and ultimate toy box as one etc, etc, etc. i really didn't think of how many i had until i went to count them but golly, i could've invested in something more profitable. i don't care though, i love disney movies and wouldn't trade a one (except my Alice dvd when the new special edition comes out...)

I have over 260 Disney theatrical features on video or DVD (not including Touchstone or Hollywood Pictures - with them it will be far over 500)
I also have around 30 videos or DVDs with the short cartoons that the studio had made.
(Footnote: I have all the theatrical releases and almost all the short cartoons! I don“t care about the direct to video produced films - of them I have only a couple!

Welcome, Lady (always wanted to say that...).
I think I have about 70ish Disney DVDs...
28 'classics', 7 Treasures (well, 2 are on order), 5 Pixar (2 copies of Bug's Life - R4 & R1), 18 DTV and misc., 12 live action (4 of which are in the post). This of course doesn't include Touchstone or Miramax, of which there are also many.
On VHS, I have about a dozen titles (mostly animated classics, including a few not yet on DVD).
Wow. I didn't think I had that many until I counted. Thought it was only forty-something....

?...300-400...? I have not counted lately but I have all of the Disney DVD R1 releases including the Anchor Bay DVD's except I do not have the two Rollie Pollie ollie movies nor the two Stanley DVD's nor Do I have any of the Baby Einstinen, Mozart, and ect. But I have all the rest including the DTV ones I also have the Anne of Green Gables DVD set and the First season of Avonlea on DVD which I consider to be somewhat Disney along with the Popeye movie.

Like Papa Bear, I have all the Disney R1 releases except for a few live action (maybe 4). I also have all of the Anchor Bay releases but I don't have any of the Baby Mozart, etc. I do own all the Stanley's and all Playhouse Disney. If it is a Disney release with a Disney logo, I will buy it. I guess you could say I am pretty obsessed!
I also collect Disney CD's and have well over 100+ of those. I have all the major soundtracks, park cd's and lots of others.
It's a fun, but expensive hobby.

I'm not gonna count *hehehe I'm a slacker* but lets just say my parents were FIRM believers in Disney movies....and I have the original movies like dating back until....the 1970s? *When I say original I mean vhs and altho some have chocolate milk spills on them

heheheh they wouldn't be worth much....they are OLD* I dont have a lot of the newer ones like Dinosaur and Toy Story or those type of movies. But I have pretty much all of the older animation films. On dvd I only have about eight. hhehehehe
