So what do you think? Which character do you most identify with? Do you think Goofy is a relatable enough character? I sure think so.Big Cartoon Database wrote:Twenty per cent of 45 actors, musicians and athletes polled recently for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts identify with Goofy more than any other Disney animated character.
But folks who'll never make the A-list are Goofy over Mickey Mouse's best friend, too. Some 15% of 8,000 consumer respondents chose Goofy as the character they relate to the most.
The "Golden Ears" survey was conducted by independent research firm Directive Analytics in time for Disneyland's 50th anniversary, which is coming up Sunday.
Stars who identify with Goofy include John Stamos, Kelsey Grammer and Jim Belushi. However, David Arquette, Peyton Manning and Terry Bradshaw are partial to Donald Duck.
Of those who'd make the most desired Disney celebrity travel companion, Oprah Winfrey led the way at 16%. In second place was Clint Eastwood at 11%, while Mary Poppins star Julie Andrews came third at 8%.
Singers Avril Lavigne and Ashanti both know the words to "It's a Small World," according to the survey.
Arquette and his wife, Courteney Cox, both chose the Haunted Mansion as their favorite Disney theme park attraction.
