i bought hocus pocus a few days ago its the widescreen version but on the back it says its been modified from its original version

why does it say that

oh i think its oar is 1:85 but my brother borrowed it so i cant look at the back till later

Yeah this is a mistake. I guess they just used some standard print from another DVD and forgot to remove this. 'Hocus Pocus' is presented in it's OAR of 1.85:1.
