Couldn't fit this all into the topic...does anybody own any of the old Disney Afternoon shows on VHS by any chance?

If so, which do you own?

I currently own one Darkwing Duck video "Comic Book Capers", and a Bonkers video "Basic Spraining" .

I have all the Ducktales episodes they put on VHS! It was because my sister was obsessed with the show when she was little! Now I consider them mine since she never watches them anymore.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I feel Disney is treating the new generation unfairly with those crappy new animated shows like Dave the Barbarian, Bandy and Mr. Whistkers and KP!

Of the rescuers:
+When Monterrey Jack almost put in danger at the end to the other members because of cheese8I think it was on a cheese factory)

+When All changes some parts of their body(watching the mouse with Dale´s rear was hillarious)

+When they have to fight with some dude and his flying carpets.

*When everyone else except for the little mouse are hypnotized for a bumble-bee gal.

+the one of the hero dog, that result to be a coward

I had two of the four official Darkwing Duck releases on VHS, and have all but one of the episodes taped off TV and transferred to DVD for safe keeping.

I'd kill to get that last episode, but it's been banned and won't likely air again.

I think the episode was entitled "Hot Spells," which featured Gosalyn desperately seeking magical powers like Morgana. She ends up selling Darkwing's soul to the devil himself to in order to gain them.

Apparently the political correctness police had a problem with that.

It's likely that it only aired once, seeing that it was probably one of the Saturday morning episodes and considering that it has never aired on Toon Disney.

Aw, I remember that one fondly. I just remember Dale being so bummed out about it. That dog was cool though.

I still wouldn't see why they'd ban that Darkwing episode. Doesn't make sense to me. All the more reason Disney needs to release this and the other shows mentioned on DVD post-haste!

I always wondered how that show ended. That's kind of a stupid reason to ban it though. I've watched plenty of cartoons and movies where it involves someone selling their soul (whether to the devil or someone like it). TLM's the most obvious example.

Sadly, I don't own any of the shows on VHS (whether taped or official). I'd love to have the Aladdin and DuckTales shows though. I watched those more than anything else and still like them pretty much. Too bad I always thought TLM show was kind of a disappointment. And for some reason I could never get interested in the Gargoyles or Darkwing Duck enough to watch it all the time.

I have the full season of Duck Tales (all the episodes)

Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers tape called Super Sleuths

2 Tale Spin tapes, True Baloo and That's Show Biz!

2 Goof Troop tapes, The Race is On! and Banding Together

Another Duck Tales tape, Ducks to the Future

And an Aladdin, Magic Makers

I love the cartoon shows from when we were little and I always buy them whenever I have a chance. I just found at the dollar store, yes the dollar store, 2 tapes of Tiny Toon Adventures and 1 tape of Animaniacs!!!! And, I also recently bought from the Record Exchange, some ninja turtle episodes. I am going to make a list online of all the movies and dvds I have, once I do, I'll be sure to post a link. :)

Lol, I thought that said Aladdin Magic Marker! It inspired me to post that I had Disney Afternoon figures...er we share them with my siblings event hey are burind in our basement. We have figures from Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers (2 sets), and Gummi Bears. They came from a cereal box, but if you mailed 2 UPCs and $4.99 S&H (lol, something like that) you could get all the sets!

Also, major discount stores have a lot of Old tapes!! We used to have an Odd Job near us (they're like Big Lots) and before they left our town they had all these old Disney tapes (in addition to bootleg Disney tapes) and reject Disney Store Beanie Babies! Though these were the days before UD existed and before I discovered it. They had Walt Disney Christmas, A Disney Christmas Gift and a Donald Duck cartoon collection. Anyhow, the point is they also had the collection of Disney Afternoon Christmas episodes.

Let see I have:

DuckTales: Duck to the Future
TaleSpin: Jackpots and Crackpots
Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers - Undercover Critters, Danger Rangers, and Super Sleuths.

BTW, a quick search of Amazon shows used copies of these going for about $2 if anyone out there wants to see these shows again and doesn’t want to wait for Disney to release them on DVD.
