Disney Classics releases

Disney releases the classics for a limited time and puts them back into the vault for a long time so that when they release them, they will sell more. People might wait a long time to buy a movie if it will be available forever, or maybe not even buy the movie at all. But if they are only available for a limited time, people will want to buy them more, before they go back into the vault. Sometimes people might think, "I wasn't going to buy it, but it's a classic and it won't be around forever so I better get it before it goes back into the vault because I never know when I'll change my mind and I'll want to buy it when it's too late to buy it." I know that was long... But you get what I mean, right?

Do I wish that Disney would keep the classics out for a longer time before they rerelease them? Yes,but not much longer. The limited times make the releases more special.

Now that I understand more what you mean, I will say I don't think that five or six years is too long for a rerelease. 10 years would be close to too long a time! But five years is not too long in my opinion.
