acording to rummours this is the new disney villain from a new traditional 2d effort called the empress.

any news on it?

A new 2-D film? Wow.This looks fake thou.But if it is real I CANT WAIT!

I've only heard of this Queen Ioni after googling and reading another one of your posts on another forum, enyafreak! [BTW, Welcome to UD.com! ]

If that is real, then she certainly does look like an interesting villain!
And this will be something for Disney..bringing back 2-D. Would be interesting and great if it does happen!

This sounds soooo fake, especially since enyafreak is the only one who knows about this new movie (and goes announcing it everywhere) and that image looks like it was made in Paint.

No it's not fake! It's not a rumour! She's going to be in the GSD sequel!

Maybe she'll beat Maleficent when we do another villian countdown!

Anyway it probably is fake(I thought Home on the Range was the "last" 2-D film!)

Heck I think she even looks like a Maleficent ripoff (with a dash of Evil Queen).

They spelled the actress' name wrong. It's Cathy Moriarty. She was in Forget Paris, Casper, Analyze That, etc.

It does look fake. And this would have to have been done by the Television Animation Dept. - the feature film 2D studio is closed.

"Empress" does not exist on IMDB. The film is not listed among Cathy Moriarty's credits.

Nothing about it seems truthful.

Cathy Moriarty would make a great voice for a villain...

Plus, the picture is linked to enyafreak and s/he is the only one who's heard about it...but you never know.

lol You went straight to IMDb, too? I did exactly what you did and was going to post the exact same thing.

Anyway, it certainly looks interesting. Whether or not it will happen, I don't know.

I do wonder if that is Teede myself...Bad grammar, poor spelling, jumping on something that SHE seems to be the only one who knows anyways.

I guess I'm the third person do go running to IMDB.com without even reading the entire thread! Hilarious! I doubted this when I first read it, because this isn't one of the fairy tales Disney has in the works. I though it could have been a revised title for The Snow Queen, but I think Initial artwork (though initial) would be much better coming from Disney.

I personally think its fake I mean, Disney producers can spell for 1 and they already said its the end 4 2D, grrr
