I also don't see them saying what made Glen's ver. so dark and moody. What was in Glen that made it so?
Well, I saw concept art of the other characters from Glen's. They were VERY old, creepy-looking and evil.
Yeah, they have to explain more! Really, what makes Glen's version so dark???

Yeah, I don't think I'll approve any Nostalgia Critic jokes since I hate That Guy With the Glasses anymore.

Various clips of 'I've Got a Dream' got taken down by YouTube after complains by Fox and Disney. Okay, first: what does Fox got to do with it? And second: how lame is this? I mean, almost all songs of all Disney films are up on YouTube, so why does only this one get complaints? It's another thing to upload entire movies, but only songs and/or musical segments? What's the harm? It's strange: there are multiple channels on YouTube offering complete Disney Afternoon series, yet Disney complains about one lousy song. Jerks.

Hey guys,
I keep forgetting to tell you all, but I recently got an A on my honors thesis! On Saturday, I will be graduating college with both Business Honors and University Honors.
You may wonder how this relates to "Tangled". Well, for the past year, I've been writing, researching, and doing plenty of other stuff for my thesis entitled: "
Tangled: An Analysis of the Marketing, Advertising, and Promotional Strategies of Walt Disney Studios' 50th Animated Motion Picture."
Overall, it was 65 pages in length and was a pretty awesome piece of writing, based on what my thesis advisor and thesis reader stated. I just wanted to thank UD and all of you that have contributed to the "Tangled" discussions since 2005! Without this website and you members, I wouldn't have had such an amazing thesis topic!
Love you guys!

Can you share it on googledocs?

I think you need a gmail account to put things on googledocs, and I unfortunately don't have a gmail account. But here's how it was broken down:
Abstract- an executive summary of the whole thing.
I. Introduction- This chapter was divided into three sections
A. I've Got a Dream- This part gave a brief history on Walt Disney and how he got his start in animation.
B. Untangled: The Making of a Fairy Tale- This part was on the production history of "Tangled".
C. From Rapunzel Unbraided to Tangled: Research Objectives
II. The Disney Princesses- Before I delved into the marketing of "Tangled", I thought it would be interesting to see how advertising at Disney has changed over the years. To accomplish this, I decided to take a look at how Disney marketed past fairy tale films with females as the main characters.
A. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
B. Cinderella
C. Sleeping Beauty
D. The Little Mermaid
E. Beauty and the Beast
F. The Princess and the Frog
G. Six Women Who Changed History- This part sums up my findings
III. A Classic Fairy Tale With A Contemporary Royal Heroine For A 21st Century Audience
This chapter was solely devoted to the marketing, advertising, and promotional strategies of "Tangled".
IV. I See The Light
This was my results and findings chapter.
V. Conclusion
VI. References
VII. Acknowledgements

The Benelux Blu-ray? Seems kind of obvious.
And "making your own version" is illegal, just so you know.

Speaking of the title, "Rapunzel," thanks to the software that I have downloaded from the Internet to my laptop, AVS Video Editor, from AVS4YOU, I learned how to swat opening title sequences on the English speaking version of Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," and it is easy. All I did is upload the video clip from Youtube with RealPlayer Plugin that says, "Rapunzel," which would be from the Netherlands, open the video with AVS Video Editor along with the movie, trim the movie and clip, and arrange it to say, "Rapunzel," besides, "Tangled." It is ridiculous, I know, but that is what I did for fun, to enjoy myself, perhaps for all of you as well.

Making my own version for me it's not illegal, I'm not going to sell it.
A few months ago we were very mad around here to get the movie (illegally), it's funny to see how much legal we are now...
I've payed 7 times to see this movie at the theatre (The first time, I went to NY to see it, so, it was "a little bit" more expensive), I will buy 3 versions of the movie on June 1 (Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD), when it will be released in Spain, and yes, it's silly, but I'm not agree to have this movie with the "Tangled" title on it, because I've wait for YEARS to see and get RAPUNZEL.
I think I can get it "illegally", I've inverted a lot in this movie.
Just so you know.

Making your own version is in no way illegal.
If RodryCroft were to go and screen his version for an audience or start burning copies and selling it as if it belonged to him, then that's another story. But I think it's pretty obvious that he just wants to piece together the movie so that he can watch it with the Rapunzel title.

Ripping the Blu-ray, which is protected for that, is, I think, very much illegal. And since Tangled is it's original title, why would anyone have it changed? Are some still not over this?

^The only illegal part is the distribution, like loaning it to a friend.
I use clips from Disney movies to enhance my Let's Play videos. I record them off a capture device, convert the resulting file, and load them in an editor to fiddle with.

Did the title ever
stop sucking?

Sure, you can "get used to it," but it doesn't mean the title's better.
