I got my Shasta plush today. Ordered it Monday, DMR shipped it Tuesday, it's here today- Friday. Good service. Cute plush, too.

The collar's Velcro, so it can be taken off.
But it's cheap velcro that doesn't like to do back up so I'd advise against this. Mine had the collar off in the envelop he came in and I had to put a stitch into it to close it again.

True. It did fall off once or twice, and I try to keep it on. I just wanted to be the first to post that fact. :P

Does anyone know if I can the rewards if I bought a new DVD, according to the seller, but it didn't come with the plastic wrapping and it didn't have the DMR code inside so I wonder if I can still get them.

Unless you can exchange the DVD for a new one that truly has never been opened, I think you're out of luck. Sounds like you got it off Ebay or something? Sounds like they either didn't really sell you a new one or probably opened it first to get the points and then sold it as new in the sense that it had never been watched before. In other words, they kinda pulled a fast one on you with the "new" bit to some extent one way or the other, but I'd say the code is lost to you in this case.

Well, the seller claims that they buy DVDs from Wal*Mart that are damaged or are missing the plastic wrapping or something of the sort and re sells them on eBay. Now, that is okay but I wish the seller would have stated that in the description. But it's okay, I receieved help from stewie15. Thanks again!

^ To be quite honest, I wouldn't be surprised if that seller was lying about getting those dvds from Walmart.

They've added some "Going Green" items. I redeemed for a 2 Bag "Every Tree Has Character" set and then after the commercial I saw about the items (on the site) that mentioned the Tink tote bag, I redeemed for that, too.

Finally, something I'll LIKE. And I like those reusable bags for stores like the grocery store or Target.

Anyone else see this? It was on the account summary page of DMR.

"Wow — now there's more time to earn rewards! You may enter Magic Codes and collect points until 7/31/2010, redeeming them for rewards through 8/31/2010. If you have inserts with eligible Magic Codes and earlier end dates, they're still valid!"

There are also some new rewards- a Princess blanket, UP mini-poster, etc.

Thanks for posting that new rewards are up. I just redeemed for the D23 magazine.

I'm like 150 away from the D23 magazine. Hopefully, I'll get a couple of double feature DVDs over the weekend and the mag won't run out. If not, I'll get Lobo. I think they're the same point value if I'm remembering right (650?). *sigh* Still no more adult Mary Poppins umbrellas, but they'll probably come back when my points are down to zero next week, ha. Wish they'd send some rewards over to MyCokeRewards, ha, like D23 mags or something...

How do you all feel about the D23 magazine offer? I didn't sign up for the club because $70 seemed like a lot. But is the magazine worth 650 points?

Yeah, I also didn't join because the price seemed too much. Seemed like all you were getting besides the magazine was an opportunity to buy more stuff in addition to special events I am too far away (currently) to attend. If I was close enough to take advantage of the events, I might have joined. Plus, I hear that aspect of joining hasn't been all it's cracked up to be for those who have joined. Anyways, I do want the magazine, but I don't want to pay 15 bucks for it. It doesn't look worth that price. 650 is kind of the same thing since I can get a DVD for that amount, but still, I'm more willing to pay up points than cash. I am glad they are offering it (was wondering if they would), and I'm willing to fork it over for the first issue at least. maybe if I get to read it I will be more interested in getting it regularly. I WOULD prefer it be at MyCokeRewards.com though, since they sometimes have Disney stuff but mostly offer digital rewards and coupons for their points now (what a joke). It would be nice to have something good to spend my points on there. I AM going to keep checking. I did get the POTC: At World's End CD there and a POTC CD player shaped like Jack Sparrow's compass, but that was a LONG time ago.

Let me guess, once we near those dates, DMR will be extended again.

My 2 cents

While it is pricey, I think it is worth it. The articles are fabulous, even the ones I did not think I would like (such as the Tim Burton one). Disney seems to add little surprises for subscribers also. With issue #2, a reproduction of a souvenir fan is included. D23.disney.go.com explains:
"The fan is a reproduction of a very rare Disneyland souvenir. "Unlike the standard tri-fold fans of the '40s and '50s, this one has five 'folds' with tabs at the top that tuck together to create a usable fan," Becky explains. Each of the five folds is printed front and back with concept art of 10 Disneyland attractions — two from each of Disneyland's original five lands. Interestingly," Becky notes, "this souvenir was created so early that one of the major attractions pictured on the fan wasn't given its actual name! The section depicting the famous 'backside of water' scene from the Jungle Cruise is touted on the fan as 'Tropical Boat Ride.'"

My wife and I will go over the articles that are in the first issue for anyone that wants a little more info on the magazine in our next podcast.

As far as the cover price goes, I honestly feel that you get your value from the magazine. The pictures alone are worth the price.

I am at 400 something points and I do not see anything that I really want. I would get the magazine if I had enough points for it though.
