In the past, I've nominated Toy Story 2, Lilo & Stitch, and The Incredibles. Need to wait a few years before I can nominate Frozen.

I want it in the Registry because it is culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant.

TBH I'm surprised that Cinderella got in there before some of the early Pixar films. Again Like Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, etc.

I don't know about Lilo and Stitch though......it's like a diet The Iron Giant, which I did nominate for NFR.

Cinderella's more culturally relevant than any Pixar film. People don't even have to see the film to recognize her.

Escapay, yeah, it is, I just feel because it's so good/known.

So true. She's very iconic. I think all the princesses fit the same category, but there's something extra special about Cinderella.

:D I would say all the princesses are definitely apart of our culture, but yes, with Cinderella, maybe it's that everyone just knows her story through culture itself, or she's the most princessy, or she's the nicest princess (arguably it's either her or Snow White), but there is something special!

I think her and Snow White are the nicest Princesses, yes. They're also fairly similar, design-wise. They both are drawn in that vintage style of the Golden Age of Hollywood. And I always thought that they are the prettiest of the princesses. :)

Yeah they do look similar although I also think very different at the same time. I think Cinderella is one of the prettiest along with Belle, but I think Aurora is the prettiest. That's my opinion. Snow White is still also very, very beautiful like a classic artwork.

They are the prettiest from the Walt-era films, in my opinion. In the Renaissance, Belle is indeed the prettiest.

Oh, you mean of all Walt-era films, the princesses are the prettiest? Yes! And I agree about Belle!

It has been bugging me for a while...
Does anybody know if the exclusive Canadian BestBuy cover for the 4K Lion King actually exists?

According to a review here, they actually ship it with the same cover as a standart 4K release.
Is it still possible that it was a limited release and they just ran out? The thing is that normaly it would surface on eBay or something but I didn't find a single copy.

It doesn't exist. It never existed. It was just a mock-up.

I wonder if this will be a bonus feature on Benson along with others like O'Hara, Salonga, Kuhn, Egan, Moore, and/or Rose who helped to bring the music to life in the films Menken worked on.

Well.... Am I the only one who thinks the cover looks strange? Sort of like a child made it with their color pencils. I do like the inside of the case with the long shot of Eric's Palace.

You're not the only one. I didn't like it at all.
