I viewed some of the movie on blu-ray last night and I think that for the most part, the picture looks really good for an old movie.

I don't get it either. Basically, I think it's there for people who aren't used to seeing the black bars.Want2beBelle wrote:also, i just wanted to say, that whole *disney view* aspect sucks. i just don't get it
Thanks for sharing the pics! I have the Limited Edition Diamond Collector Set and it appears that both the page count and text are the same. Like you said, the main difference is the cover and the size, but looking at the pages you took pictures of, it looks like somebody had to rearrange the layout as well. The title page in my book is not the old movie poster like yours is. So while there are some differences, there are more similarities. If anybody was thinking about getting the big box set just for the book, you might as well just get the smaller one.Want2beBelle wrote:I tried the best pics i can, but the lighting in my house is not that great so here are the ones that came out: Enjoy! BTW, the blu-ray case u see is the steelbook not the one that came with it i replaced it, the book came with the dvd case, which is a nice trick, it actually looks like a dvd, anyway to not get into that here are the pics; the book is 160 pages just like in the collector's set, this scale on this one i think is smaller... still not sure what are the big differences besides the cover, and size.
Ha ha. I got Ariel and I thought about submitting my number, but it was 10:00 at night and I'm a 24 year old man. lol. Do they actually talk to you? Or is it a recorded message?Flower's Friend wrote:I played the Princess personality quiz game on the Blu-ray and I got a call from Snow WhiteSnow White just called little me and I am so happy

It's just a recorded message. I got Tiana... and she called me!goofystitch wrote: Ha ha. I got Ariel and I thought about submitting my number, but it was 10:00 at night and I'm a 24 year old man. lol. Do they actually talk to you? Or is it a recorded message?
As I understand it, the blur is some scenes is due to the cells not being completely flat when transferred to film. It's something that shouldn't be there, but was due to human error, and Disney (rightfully IMO) decided not to alter it.tlc38tlc38 wrote:To me, it's not just the disc art that's blurry. The movie itself looks blurry at points. I'm assuming that's the price you have to pay if you buy older movies on Blu-ray.MICKEYMOUSE wrote:It is me or my eyes, but the Blu-Ray discs kind of look blurry, have that 3-D movie look to it?

BDLive on Disney titles isn't yet global unfortunately.ajmrowland wrote:Considering that BD-Live is now global...
