Still... How can you be offended by this... You cant demand to get a slipcover when you havent even bought the new version... And it IS stealing!! It wouldnt be if you had purchased the new version, and had not gotten a slipcover for it...

Do you steal dustjackets for books when your old books comes in new prints too?
how is it stealing when she purchased the new edition take it out to her car removes it and takes it back? it's stealing if she takes it out of the store without purchase. i don't think is wrong the store is not loosing any profit from the removal of the slipcover! come on guys stop been judgemental cause i know you would do the same if you were in the same situation.... she's an avid disney collector so i don't judge her! you go get the slipcover! you have uncle mickey's approval! lol :) :D

I need to call, for the Alice in Wonderland and A Bug's Life slipcovers. They honestly look misplaced next to my Cindy and LatT silpcovered DVDs. However, I don't like talking to strangers on the phone. Oh well.

Wow! Thanks Princessmarlo! Maybe this post will get me motivated to actually call, and talk to a stranger. Still, I don't like talking to people I don't know, then again, I would like an AiW slipcover. It's a tough decision.

P.S. Are there shipping charges?

Is there anything like this for us region 2 folk? Only 2 of my dvds came with the slipcovers (Aladdin and Cinderella), although to be honest I'm not sure how many were supposed to, but I'd presume that all of the platinum collection ones would?

Hey, do you guys think they might still have slipcovers for Sleeping Beauty?? That's the only DVD (besides Finding Nemo, but I don't really care too much about that DVD) that dosen't have a slipcover. And my SB DVD is going to be the only Disney DVD that was originally made in the 50's without a slipcover...and it already looks out of place. :(

There's a great product out there that you can buy called "Goo-Be-Gone". It does wonders for stuff like that. (Just beware that the stuff is supposedly EXTREMELY toxic!) You can probably buy it in grocery stores or places like CVS. :)

Goo-Gone. It's my favorite household product of all ever and will do the trick. Peel as much of the gunk as you can off by hand, then spray some Goo-Gone on a paper towel and gently rub the residue.

Today, my mom called, I still am afraid of the strangers, and someone, in which I don't like, said that they will only replace damaged slipcovers. Now, let's just say that I wanted a slip cover, in which I originally didn't have, do you have to mail in the damaged slip cover, or will they just "trust" you? Thanks for anyone who could possibly help me. Now, I have to go and study for my Spanish II Exam

they didn't tell me they could only replace damaged ones, but I did replace 2 of mine that were a bit damaged but they told me I did not have to send them back... you may have to I think it probably depends on the person you talk to.
