If any of you guys are interested and are willing to help me out by signing and sharing this all over the internet, I have a petition I just made that I hope you can sign and share all over social media. It's the petition to Bob Iger of Disney and SAG-AFTRA to grant an interim agreement for Walt Disney Animation Studios' Wish so the film can be properly marketed by having its cast of actors & actresses promote the movie around the world - https://chng.it/PZMfJbDqrM via Change.org.

Would you guys please sign my petition? I really don't want this film and I need all the help I can get or find to make sure it can be a hit through this petition being signed, now more than ever.

I already suspected that's what it was used for, but I wasn't sure if Star could fit in there. I think it was Disney's Divinity who noticed a while back Asha only wears the satchel in some images and not in others. Back then I checked the trailer again to see if she wore it there and she doesn't, what made me suspect she only wears it after meeting Star to hide it when she returns to the city.
Sounds right. I wonder if perhaps, if she travels anywhere, it's through various wish orbs (perhaps she goes inside them and they are their own imagined "world" in a way).

By the way, there was a concept art image of Magnifico surrounded by the wish orbs a few pages back that was very nice. The secret dungeon / lab is definitely Evil Queen-esque (and Yzma, who was an homage herself). I haven't had a chance to listen to the song yet to comment. It's weird to think this movie's only 2 months and a week or so now. I'm glad the time has passed so quickly, looking forward to finally seeing both both it and the preceding short! :)

TBH, I'm also looking forward to Frozen III and Zootopia 2 since I liked those two original films, but I'm curious to learn what WDAS's next original project will be. They have to be working on something, I imagine, they always keep their projects under wraps in a lot of ways.

Come to think of it, do we even know what the next WDAS film will be after Wish? Original or otherwise? I was under the impression F3 and Z2 were still years away.

We’ll probably find out around the time of Wish’s release.

Whatever the original movie after Wish will be, I just hope that they use the new graphical style and improve on it as they make their originals. Who knows, maybe they’ll implement it in their upcoming sequels.

Also, I forgot to give my opinion of Asha as a face character in the Disney parks. The performer is just as pretty as the one from the movie although I do think that when she was called out to come to the stage, her performance was a bit awkward as she was sometimes flailing her arms around and did that weird “Hi” sign (That should’ve been Mirabel’s mannerism) :P

I kinda hope they go back to hand-drawn animation, specifically in 2027 for a new Winnie the Pooh movie (to celebrate his first movie’s 50th Anniversary) or in 2028 for a Mickey Mouse movie (to celebrate the character’s 100th Birthday), maybe that movie about the search for Mickey Mouse that was in the works all those years ago.

That can be cool as well. If anything, they could use both mediums for their upcoming features since they can have a distinct and memorable style for each movie. Both mediums have their strengths and weaknesses but that doesn’t mean they should favor one over the other just because it is “outdated” or such.

Why would they give a interim agreement to a 200M budget IP movie that will make tons in merchandising and Disney Land money.

They only give interim agreement to small indie movies, not a potencial Frozen level movie xdddd

You should relax and stop being so annoying about Wish, we all want to see this movie but your level of messages here and Twitter are very annoying

I'm betting the Wish trailer will drop by this Monday cause the trailer has already been approved and has been leaked in September 6th so I don't see why they would wait another week to drop it.

It doesn’t matter anyway. SAG just reportedly stopped all future interim agreements anyway.

Also, it’s hard for me to relax when Disney is, so far, treating original animation like it is the modern-day bastard step-child of their company, even after Elemental legged out so well domestically, and I say that because Bob Iger didn’t give any quotes congratulating Elemental for legging out so long in the press release on The Walt Disney Company’s website, a sign to me that he doesn’t care about original animation just like Chapek didn’t.

So, I’ll relax when I see Disney treat Wish like it’s THE movie of their 100th Anniversary slate that’s THE big holiday event to check out in theaters and not wait to see on Disney+.

If they drop it on Monday, it should be during Monday Night Football on ESPN/ABC and not in the morning during Good Morning America as many people feel that is a sign of Disney botching up the film’s marketing by airing it on a daytime morning show that barely anyone watches anymore.

We've all had our favorite movies that did not get the attention we were hoping for from studios. Who knows why that happens? But life goes on. There's no need to burden oneself with doing the work that is done more effectively with the reach and resources of studio heads.

Take some comfort that a movie's cultural impact does not begin or end with the promotional campaign.

Closer look at some details from the Asha doll, first look at a Dahlia plush and some more merch:

Speaking of Dahlia, apart from the references to Doc, like the glasses or the color scheme, they also seem to have taken some inspiration from Flora, Fauna and Merryweather as peasants for her design and outfit, don't you guys think?

Oh, that hadn't occurred to me. Who knows, perhaps that's what she does. I wonder what those worlds would look like. She could also travel thanks to Magnifico's magic book. When the Teens break into Magnifico's castle, perhaps that's what they're after. Although, maybe the latter would be too similar to the book in the Beauty and the Beast remake.

Now that I’ve seen more of Dahlia, does anyone know if she’s supposed to be Asian? And with the cane she’s using, disabled? (Sorry, if that word is no longer PC) And to my eye, she looks a bit portly, as if she could be a distant cousin to the good fairies she’s pictured next to.
If she’s a lesbian, well, that’s 4 diversity boxes checked!☑️ A woke quadfecta! Congratulations, Disney !
Just curious...

I'm posting just the link in case posting the images gets us in trouble with Mattel again.
I saw this posted at a Facebook group and many people there thought it was a doll of Isabela from Encanto.

Yes, she's a plus-sized, disabled Asian woman. I doubt she's a lesbian though. The only characters that are rumored to be LGBT are the Grumpy-inspired Teen and the Star both of whom are supposed to be non-binary/genderfluid. Dahlia has a horrible design, especially for a character who is supposed to be the protagonist's best friend. The hairstyle, the glasses and the frumpy-looking outfit are simply awful. I think they should have made the Black female Teen her best friend. She has a better design and it would have been a good opportunity to introduce a Black female best friend to the lead, something that a lot of people wanted but didn't get with The Princess and the Frog. It's bad enough we have two Black princesses already, but still no Black prince.

Where was that said about the Grumpy-inspired teen? I know Grace Randolph said Star was non-binary, but where was that said about the Grumpy-inspired teen.
