At least Shank looked great on that cover.

To be honest, I thought it was just like the other trailers. With the same rapid fire editing and blatant pop songs.

Well, the Japanese can only do so much. They have to work with what they're given. They had to use the same music and footage but at least they gave the trailer better structure and focused more on the dramatic aspects of the story.

You weren't at all, Fan
Plus, we have actual action scenes which look really done done, a new character (the blue boy), and a new outfit for Yesss (She's so beautiful!)

We have confirmation of more scenes with the Wrecked Princesses.
Now, you’re right if you think that seems like a lot of work for just one quick scene. To that end, Ribon hinted there may be more when Ralph Breaks the Internet opens on November 21. “You’ll see a little bit more of the princesses,” she said. “There are some surprises to come.”

I wouldn't be shocked if they end up with bigger roles than Calhoun and Felix at this point. The poster certainly seemed to promise that much.

I didn't think of that. I bet you're right!

That must be why Disney ended up changing Tiana's design, because Anika Noni Rose campaigned to get her character to resemble her 2D version more. I wish the same could also be said about the rest of the princesses.

I'm surprised she also thought Tiana's skin was lighter. I'm surprised she thought her princess should look more like herself but not the rest. Didn't she get they all are supposed to look different?

What a wonderful woman, and how awesome that she went straight to the top at Disney and questioned them. And clearly, she was heard and they have been respectful to her and her thoughts. Absolutely love that !

She means the rest of the African American community. Not just her.
I honestly think Disney had good intentions by sticking Tiana to a art style with the other girls. But at the end of the day, they were just missing certain physical qualities of a specific race than the other girls. I hope they fix Pocahontas too because I think they did a much worse job with her than Tiana.
And I love her too, Atlantica! It was a gigantic honor of seeing her at the Expo with Jodi, Auli'l, and Paige. And with a great sense of humor to boot too! She's a spitfire

Tiana looked nothing like herself and had her features altered due to the overall redesign of the pincesses. It wasn't just her and it wasn't racially motivated. When we complained that the princesses looked unrecognizable we were scoffed at and dismissed. I'm glad Anika has indirectly admitted that the "princess team" at WDAS utterly failed in capturing the original look of the princesses.

• New TV spot:

• The following article contains descriptions of the clips screened on the press day. There are some details that, at least for me, were new:

• This other article explains the process of creating the viral video Ralph makes in the film (though it doesn't tell what the final viral video is about):

• And,
according to Stitch Kingdom, the movie has been rated PG for some action and rude humor.

The official merchandise at the Disney Store will come out on Sunday, according to many sources on Instagram.
Thanks for the shares, D82! Everything sounds and looks wonderful, except....
In a clip at eBay, Ralph and Vanellope walk through several items in eBay, including an art piece of a Sorrowful Kitten, a taxidermy beaver, and a Tortilla chip with Beyonce’s face on it.

Tiana looked nothing like herself, but frankly that applies to all the other 2D princesses as well. I'm glad Anika Noni Rose was able to campaign to get the character to resemble her more, but I wish something similar could be done for the rest of the princesses. And I disagree that race wasn't a factor here, because the complaint was that Tiana had been whitewashed. Not just skin tone wise, but as Anika said, her features had been changed completely. In Anika's post, she talks about how Mark Henn asked her if there was anything she wanted to have incorporated into Tiana's design, and Anika made suggestions about giving Tiana a rounder nose and fuller lips. She said that she wanted Tiana to more accurately reflect brown faces around the world and now the CGI design for Tiana will do that as well.
Anika said she noticed how off her character looked way back in the summer but only felt spoke up about it after there was internet buzz about Tiana being whitewashed, which makes me wonder how many of the other voice actresses feel similarly that their characters haven't been done justice but simply haven't said anything yet.

What do you mean? In her post, she said Tiana had "lighter skin and sharper features". And I was saying all the Disney princesses are supposed to be in a different style.
