I've not watched any of this series the naughty way, just dipped in and out of spoilers …. decided that I'll get it on bluray to watch the whole thing the 'proper' way. I've purchased both Season 1 & Season 2 on iTunes, but I'm guessing as it isn't being shown in the UK we won't get a digital version? So only option is the box set.
Oh gosh, that is if they'll even sell it over here? May have to import the US version ...

Well guys......
Zelena has been killed by none other than Rumple (with his dagger) and her magic pendant seems to have cast the time spell. Can't wait for the finale next week!

Great episode tonight.
Loved the fact that Regina is able to use light magic, and maybe this will ultimately lead to overcoming her dark magic/evil ways for good. Loved the past storyline for Zelena and her ultimate end--I just knew Rumpel would be the one to do her in if anybody did. It was strange how she turned to glass... You know, if the show ended anytime from here on out, I wouldn't be as disappointed since all the characters seem to be in good places or on the road to good places now. Most of the things that geared the first season (Regina's hatred of Snow, conflict over being good for Henry, not having love, competing with Emma; Emma's lack of love or family; Rumpel trying to find peace with Baelfire) have mostly been solved at this point. I believe the last loose end, which'll probably be solved at the end, is freeing Rumpel so he's no longer the Dark One.
I wonder where else they could go at this point (as far as other worlds)? Either way, looking forward to the finale.

Planet of the Apes? Lol! I've been trying to think of where else they COULD go. . . Maybe Narnia?

Wouldn't be something if Cruella appeared next season? I would really love that!

The Lion Tattoo, witches, the bow that never misses its target, and a door that leads to a snowy place....I feel like they are dropping hints about going to narnia or is it just me

Those are great observations! Honestly, I hadn't been paying that close attention . . . We'll know soon enough!

I thought perhaps Wonderland given Knave of Hearts/Will is being called up to the main roster of season 4. But those hints could mean Narnia yet Will is coming, perhaps Anastasia becomes The Snow Queen?

Since all the other comments about this were under spoilers, I'll use one too, even though it's not a spoiler...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe Disney has the rights to Narnia anymore. Narnia's not public domain yet, the Lewis Estate still owns it, and there's a moratorium right now on film rights. I'd assume that would extend into TV rights as well...

They may still own then for the first two books. It's unlikely they had a short term license to them with the films. My bet is that they licensed the first and then had options for the rest, but decided not to exercise after PC.

WonderNeverOz,
that's so true, I didn't notice all of those, but now I can't unsee it. You know, I wouldn't be upset if they went to Narnia if that's an option, and it wouldn't be surprising now that they've had Oz and Peter Pan (both books), but Narnia is so allegorical. I wonder what storyline they would even use it for... It's hard to imagine Emma or Regina interacting with Aslan...
I'm assuming, if it is Narnia, Zelena's magic revived her and she is the White Witch character? It makes sense considering the Witch in the books also came from another world into Narnia to escape death in her previous world (Magician's Nephew). She came in when Narnia was first created by Aslan. I'm guessing the twist would be that she created this world herself, where she rules? But I don't know how that would gel with her original plans, since I thought she was going back in time/re-write history so to speak.
Also, another thing from last night, when they were talking about the "true" Witch of the West being the person who conquers a great evil. If Zelena is that great evil, would that mean that Regina is the Witch of the West?

Here's a link to the synopsis for the season finale. Spoilers Beware if you haven't seen the previous episode. It sounds awesome
EDIT: I think this also shows where the portal leads to.

If they do go to this place that you think they might be going to …. it would be the perfect opportunity to receive a visit from a certain frosty princess ….. !

There's still the loose end of Rumple needing to become good.
And Narnia is too religious to mess with!

Nope, Walden Media was the one with the film contracts, and their contract expired in 2011. Disney doesn't own any of the characters or the world, just the rights to the films they distributed. Anyway, I think a TV depiction of Narnia would fall under the moratorium.
I agree with you about Narnia,
Disney Duster. I don't want OUAT coming anywhere near it.

If religious stories were off-limits, this show wouldn't exist. All fairy tales are "religious."

^Some fairy tales are religious, sure. "The Marsh King's Daughter" comes to mind right away. But I definitely wouldn't consider all fairy tales to be religious. How do you mean?

I think because C.S. Lewis who wrote Narnia purposelessly has comparisons to the bible and Christianity . The Sons of Adam and The Daughters of Eve. Aslan being nailed to that table, then when he dies it breaks.
Where some fairy tales can be used in example to any kind of religion, Narnia is written specifically of just one.

What the...? No they're not. Maybe some fairy tales are religious or some used to be, like in previous versions, but the tales so far used in this show have not been religious. None of them are meant to represent Biblical stories or "the true word of God" like Narnia.
