I think people are expecting a more serious trailer, since it's more typical of a Disney film to have a comical trailer and a serious trailer but with this marketing team it's unpredictable.

I'm just hoping that we get something that makes the film look epic. It can have gags, but this film's advertising has to compete with the Harry Potter advertising. If they're going to go for another flimsy comical trailer, I fear there is no hope in competing with HP at all.

Also, this trailer better give us some music!

They got me very excited about the movie. For sure it will be BRILLIANT. It's a classic fairytale through and through. I'll also try to upload tomorrow the music from the music player that comes with the book. Don't get excited 'cause you can't tell a lot from those sound effect-like midis they put in those things.

Disney hasn't released anything related to the music to the public yet. It would be great if there was anything of his score in the new trailer!

That's Grace Potter. According to the article she wrote a song for the movie.

I'm not that impressed... It's like they can't decide if the trailer is epic or comedic. It also seems like they tried to cram all the gags they could get, but they aren't funny since there isn't any build up. I just hope the movie isn't like that. No songs either!

But is it just me or does anyone else find Flynn very annoying? And not in a good sense.

I can't wait for this movie!!!

But more pop music, and from the POV of Flynn? I guess this will attract an audience, but I was hoping to see something more serious for this trailer.

Much better. Though I still wanted songs!

Well, yeah the second one is so much better. it does have a lot of gags but it seems to hint that there are some dark elements to it as well.

But jeez guys! It's so obvious the movie's about Rapunzel! Why not put it from her perspective? I mean a lot of guys would probably see a movie that was from the perspective of Angelina Jolie. OK that was a bad example, but you get the idea.

It is kinda making me annoyed by Flynn. Hopefully Disney have pulled a Ray the Firefly with him and he turns out to be endearing.

On the other hand, the 1995 trailer for Sleeping Beauty was sort of told from Prince Philip's perspective. SO, I shouldn't complain.

I love the shots of Rapunzel and that bit with Mother Gothel opening the window. She looks like a really cool villain. Oh. And two more words. Brad. Garrett.

Mehhh... I thought I'd be more impressed with Rapunzel's hair... It doesn't look that natural and it kind of stays in one big chunk of hair - looks weird...

The shot where she says ''I can't believe I did this !!! '' playing with water looks, so, so, so, sooo fake and very amateur looking - kind of reminded me of the Barbie Rapunzel movie !!!
