I haven't seen the Toys R Us price yet, but the Best Buy prices have been listed on Blu-ray.com as well.

The Lion King:
- Combo Pack (DVD packaging) - $19.99
- Combo Pack (Blu-Ray packaging) - $19.99
- 3D Combo Pack - $29.99 ($24.99 after coupon)
- 3D Combo Pack with collectible The Lion King Lunch Box - $29.99 ($24.99 after coupon) *Best Buy exclusive*
- Trilogy Collection - $74.99 ($69.99 after coupon)

Use $5 off The Lion King Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack or The Lion King Trilogy coupon to save more!

Save $8 when you buy any Diamond Edition version of The Lion King AND Disneynature: African Cats or Beauty and the Beast Blu-ray 3D.

Disneynature: African Cats:
- Combo Pack (DVD packaging) - $19.99
- Combo Pack (Blu-ray packaging) - $19.99

Beauty and the Beast:
- 3D Combo Pack - $29.99

I'm getting mine from Best Buy because I got the ironcase already which will take $5.50 or so off (When I got the ironcase, there was a 20% off all movies and music sale going on, so I got the ironcase for $5.50ish instead of the $7 that normally went towards the purchase of TLK.) With the $5 coupon I suppose I'll be able to pick this up for about $20. If I get an extra $8 off for getting BatB 3D, I'll pick that up too. It'll be like getting both for about $20 each.

I was hoping the 3D combo would be cheaper at Best Buy... oh well. Might go for the Target exclusive depending on what the slip looks like, or just get the 2 disc combo to save a little, since I don't have a 3DTV yet.

Target usually accepts them for both versions. I remember using the coupon for PATF for a regular pack. :)

So my friend who works at Subway snagged me a coupon but it doesn't seem to say it's for this version of the Lion King ^ I'm thinking maybe it will work since the DVD and Blu-ray packaging are usually the exact same price (for Dumbo they were both $22.99 at Target).

Oh! Does any one know if Toys R Us will have it for $19.99 like they did for Dumbo? I'm scared to try the coupon at Best Buy since i heard they give a hard time with coupons ;/

Well, the coupon for Tangled was only for the four-disc pack, but some of us managed to get away with using the coupon for the two-disc (1 BD, 1 DVD pack). So hopefully, that'll be the case for the 2-disc pack of The Lion King. :)

By the way, do I need to buy a meal at Subway just to get the coupon? Because I really am not too big on Subway.

Yes. You need to buy a kid's meal to get it, which averages like... $3.50 or so. So it's up to you if it's worth it or not.

I had lunch at Subway the other day and I bought the lunchbox just for the sake of having the lunchbox having no idea it came with the coupon and stickers. I had pre-ordered the movie off the Disney Movie Club so it doesn't matter.

By the way, I bought my meal and the lunchbox for an extra dollar, may be they're willing to sell the lunchbox for a dollar without a meal; then you'd be saving $4.

Disgusting. I remember looking for the cloud specifically while in the theater, but thought maybe I just wants looking in the right spot or something. Now I know I not crazy.

My Fiance surprised me and she was able to just buy the bags individuality for $1 a bag. I guess it depends on what Subway you go to.

You don't think Disney's pulling a George Lucas on their films, do you?

Interview: Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff, The Directors of 'The Lion King'
http://www.dvdizzy.com/lionking-directo ... rview.html
Q: Were you ever tempted to pull "a George Lucas" and improve parts of The Lion King for the new release?

Roger Allers: No, I think we knew to leave well enough alone. Did some color correcting though on a few scenes that I was never happy with.

Obviously, that's not the case.
